May 24, 2013. Ren’s Custom Corset →. Detail of beading and binding. Steampunk Top Hat by Ren Boggio. Fabric covered buckram with dupioni binding. Gear, beads, metal, and watch hands appliqued by hand after the hat was otherwise complete. The fabric gives a fair imitation of felt, but it is actually a very thin cotton based fabric with a slight fuzz to it (even somewhat transparent when a single layer is held up to the light due to a loose weave). It did not rain on Mary Jane (embroidery) | Creative Saturdays
https://creativesaturdays.wordpress.com/2013/05/12/mary-jane-embroidery
It did not rain on Mary Jane (embroidery). It did not rain on Mary Jane. For she had a huuuuuge umbrella! On the recommendation of Auntie Pippa. I decided to try out a little embroidery pattern from LiliPopo. I chose Mary Jane because I thought she was adorable! Except for a new hoop and needles, the pattern was the only cost incurred as I had a piece of fabric and plenty of floss – yay :D. Nail white pencil computer screen = not neat! Colours used (DMC): hair 433, skin 407, umbrella 826 (outside –...

Yellow is my favourite colour | Sezcapades!
https://sezcapades.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/yellow-is-my-favourite-colour
Sarah sews a blog. Yellow is my favourite colour. April 1, 2013. To get me started and so that there is some content on here, I thought I would post a photo of a dress I made a couple of months ago. I used McCall’s 6503, view A (the top left one). Here are a couple of my favourite shots from the day, that show off my dress nicely. Justin took this next one:. I really love the fabric of this dress – it’s so pretty and summery. And yellow is indeed my favourite colour. Ooh, first post! Me Made May ’13.

https://renboggio.wordpress.com/about
I am an aspiring costumer for theatre and film. I am a recent grad from Capilano University’s Costuming for Stage and Screen program. Costume design and historic fashion are passions of mine but I enjoy nearly everything that goes into costuming from character creation, to garment cutting and construction, to on-set work in film or running crew in theatre. This is to be my portfolio, but it is currently under construction. In the meantime, please check out my old portfolio on photobucket.

An awful lot of sewing | Sezcapades!
https://sezcapades.wordpress.com/2013/05/15/an-awful-lot-of-sewing
Sarah sews a blog. An awful lot of sewing. May 15, 2013. So, after a while not really doing any sewing at all and being highly unmotivated to do anything, you’ll be pleased to know that I have got off my backside (figuratively speaking; I clearly sit down to sew) and have done some sewing in the last few days! But first, I want to show you a pincushion I made for a friend’s birthday in April. That is stuck to the silicone, and then stick the fabric to the paper… or I might not. Also I think it ...My boyf...

Sarah sews a blog. Ooh, first post! April 1, 2013. Today I made a sewing blog! I’m not really sure what this blog will contain, but I am hoping that it will motivate me to actually do more sewing, so that I can tell the internet about it. But first, I will tell the internet a bit about myself:. My name is Sarah (nickname: Sez), and I am a 24-year-old student, currently living in Adelaide, Australia. I have another blog over here. Which I’ve been running since 2004. Okay, that will do for this post I think.
