The math we think about for fun. December 16, 2009. Diagram chasing is tedious, but not conceptually difficult. That’s exactly the kind of task that computers are good at. Therefore, I want to write a computer program to at least construct proofs for given true minimal “diagram chasing” facts. I think this can be done because in proving things like the snake lemma or the five lemma, my steps were boringly methodical. Has this been done before? Will it be harder than I think?
