Taking the world by storm at a snails pace. Circular Quay and Sydney Bridge. October 30, 2013. Today my new friends and I head to Bondi Beach – one of. Walking towards the ocean I notice a bunch of people up on a grassy hill overlooking Bondi; how can they can go to the beach and not sit by the shore? That totally defeats the purpose! In my opinion anyhow.) We trudge through the sand, which is scalding hot, and head towards the water to find a good spot. The sun is hot. We don’t want to babysit you!

Taking the world by storm at a snails pace. I’m Not That Outdoorsy. Farewell Thailand, Hello Australia →. October 7, 2013. Frank and Harmony have pity on me and decide to move on to the more populated and civilized Koh Phi Phi. We head out early to catch the boat, which also means it’s high tide and we have to trek through the jungle again. Great. The climb is just as rocky, muddy and steep as I recall although this time I can actually see how precarious it all is. This entry was tagged boat ride.

Taking the world by storm at a snails pace. I’m Not That Outdoorsy →. October 5, 2013. To get back to Tonsai we hope to catch a water taxi but there are none to be found. Earlier we crossed over during low tide, climbing over rocks around the peninsula. The rocks are now covered with the sea. According to our local, rather vague map, the other route back to the hostel is via a path through the woods which is a bit longer but it is our only option. I’m Not That Outdoorsy →. A drip drop and rolling of thoughts. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. September 14, 2014. I woke up at 3am. My internal clock said it was time to do something fun. I showered, and loaded up my backpack with gloves, a warm hat and some long underwear. It was time to go fishin’. The schedule for the day looked something like this:. 7am- Take a seaplane to the Yentna River. 8am- Land at the Riversong Lodge. 6pm- Take a seaplane back to Lake Hood airport. 8221; Fist-pump from the back seat!
