Silicon Valley couple in search of pura vida in a land of chaos…. I have been looking at a lot of different travel blogs recently… the one that I repeatedly return to is Young Adventuress. This girl seems cool! She recently quit her job to travel the world, and I am living vicariously through her… Check it out! I fell in love…. Don’t worry, I still had a blast! NYC has been calling me back recently… I hope to go with my husband soon (he has not visited since he was 13!

Silicon Valley couple in search of pura vida in a land of chaos…. Call me crazy, but New York City was never on my list of places that I had to go visit. My sister repeatedly told me that I would love it, but I repeatedly did not listen to her… Back in January of 2011, with the encouragement of a friend (who adores NYC), I decided to go. Visited Chichen Itza in 2007. 8) Complete a Spanish immersion program in Costa Rica. 9) See the pyramids of Egypt. 11) See the fjords in Norway. Fly first class to Europe. 13) Visit Machu Picchu. 14) Visit the fjords of Norway.

A drip drop and rolling of thoughts. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. September 14, 2014. I woke up at 3am. My internal clock said it was time to do something fun. I showered, and loaded up my backpack with gloves, a warm hat and some long underwear. It was time to go fishin’. The schedule for the day looked something like this:. 7am- Take a seaplane to the Yentna River. 8am- Land at the Riversong Lodge. 6pm- Take a seaplane back to Lake Hood airport. 8221; Fist-pump from the back seat!

Who Is The Meandering Matriarch? Posted by The Meandering Matriarch. Asymp; 10 Comments. Well, once again I am hoist with my own petard. Or, put another way, I am foiled by my own plan. I try to remain philosophical on these occasions, but sometimes it’s harder than others. This is one of those times. Not just because it will be more than a little costly, but because I was a bit emotionally attached to the items in question. Or the crystals not crystally enough? Has to be replaced, but my favourites.
