Thursday, February 27, 2014. How did I get here? I was able to get away with some friends this past weekend to hear one of my favorite blogger/authors speak. I don't have (or make) time to read or follow very many people, so the fact that I enjoy her enough to actually read her stuff says something. Jen Hatmaker was in Little Rock, and we got to hear her wise words and have some much needed mama time away! It felt really good to cry a little bit and be honest about how I was feeling. Parke Henry Gibson was our amazing blessing through adoption. We were matched with Parke in the fall and quickly found out that something wasn't "right" after multiple ultrasounds. We were attached to he and the birth mother, so even though the option was there to back out, we continued to pursue the adoption. We held and loved Parke for a full 7 weeks before he went to be with Jesus. On his 49th day, he passed away peacefully in my arms snuggled up in our bed. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. June Family Fun Trip. Even though I haven't been documenting, we have been keeping up with our family fun outings each month. For June, we went to St. Louis for a long weekend, and we had a blast! We crammed a lot in, but the kids loved spending intentional time together and trying some new things! Our kids are good travelers.thank goodness! We took the kids to Grant's Farm. It was our first time going, and they really enjoyed it! Feeding the goats with baby bottles was a hit!

Treyson got just what he asked for.the 3 jerseys that the Arkansas Razorbacks wear (white, red, and grey ones). He also got a Razorback shirt, undies, socks, some toiletries, and candy. Micah loves to go rabbit hunting on his Papa's ranch with his family! Now that the girls are older he started taking them too. Gianna loves it! So after General Conference we all went out to the ranch for a family hunt. :). I almost never find the rabbits, but this time I found both! They both got away so we decided to try our luck with some cans ;). Brichelle enjoyed picking wildflowers .
