Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Our friends Lois and Tyler were kind enough to host a lovely celebration for the holiday! Tyler grilled some BBQ and everyone else made tasty sides. Top it all of with a few s'mores and homemade mint mojitos and was truly a wonderful time. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Healthy avocado chicken salad. 2 cups shredded chicken. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 2 tsp lime juice. 1 tsp fresh cilantro. 1/4 cup plain Greek Yogurt. Made this for lunch this week and could not believe how well it turned out!

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Today was an exciting and terrifying day for me. For a while now I've been carefully researching, praying, having meltdowns and getting excited. I've completed two internships and pinned 505 items to my Pinterest board. But today I took a really large step. I registered my company name as an LLC in the state of Missouri and purchased a domain for my future website. It's official, I am an event planner! Friday, February 21, 2014. Monday, March 19, 2012. In yoga studios across the world, tomorrow is a special day. The spring equinox represents a change in seasons, and in the yoga world is celebrated by doing 108 Sun Salutations. Typically this ritual is performed 4 times a year, with the start of each season, to acknowledge the changing world around us. The 108 Sun Salutation practice is named Mala, representing the 108 mala prayer beads used in meditation. There were initially 54 sounds in the Sanskrit alphabet: 2 X 54 = 108.

My friend Erin and I were hitting up the after Christmas sale at Macy's and I found this BEAUTIFUL Oscar de la Renta sweater for $15! Although Delaware did not have any important races, I was still able to work on election night. I was a reporting agent for Reuters. They launched a nationwide effort to collect voting results as the polls closed with agents covering all counties (well almost all counties). I got paid, and I got press credentials!
