Sunday, April 29, 2012. Strawberry Fields Forever: Chesterfield Farm Strawberry Fest. This is our 3rd year trekking out to Chesterfield (about a 45 minute drive) to attend this year's Strawberry Fest. The weather for the weekend was forecasted to be cold and rainy both Saturday and Sunday. We decided on Saturday morning hoping the rains would hold out. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Max - A Man of a Few Words. About 3 weeks ago Max's communication skills started presenting themselves. He seems to recognize "da-da" as daddy. He also knows when to remove his pacifier, blow a rasberry right in your face, giggle, and then replace his pacifier (he did this to me first thing one morning after I pulled him from his crib). He's consistently gesturing by reaching up (to be picked up out of his hi-chair or his crib). he does know what it means now. A Ga ga ga!

Wednesday, February 06, 2013. 21-Month Interview with Max. Well, almost 21-months. Technically, we have 5 more days to go. Max really does know a lot of words. Rob and I counted and wrote down all the words he knew during our road-trip home to Ohio for Christmas. We came up with about 40 /- words. He's actually begun combing two-word phrases like, "Bye-bye mommy! Or "want milk.". And, just yesterday, a three-word phrase for the first time, "Oh no, my shoe! Good news, youve won the BEST MOMENT AWARD.

Monday, November 19, 2012. 18-Month Interview with Max. Semi-interesting. It's so hard to get Max to sit still to do this with me so I tried to get him while eating. which has its own set of problems (like he won't talk because he's eating). Oh well.
