Saturday, 27 August 2011. So it's a year since I updated this. Time really does fly by. I've failed to lose much weight but fitness is improving. A couple of months back I bought a Merlin s2200 road bike and am loving it. Eats up the miles, and I can knock off the 8 mile commute in 35 mins now. Really regret not having got a real road bike sooner. The s2200 is bargain basement, but still has STI drop levers and some quality kit - at £300 it was test really - and one that paid off.
