The Waddell Family: October 2012
http://jeremyanderinw.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. Cora Leigh's 3 year check up and eye doctor. On October 10th, we went to Highland Pediatrics for Cora's 3-year check. This was our first time meeting Cora's new doctor, Dr. Schumate, and it went great! She did everything the doctor asked her to do without hiding her face with her hands or clinging to me. It was great! As far as I know, Cora Leigh has never had an ear infection. Apparently, this one was pretty bad, but Cora did not complain at all! She wore them the entire time w...

In a Waverly World: September 2013
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Iza ny anaranao chips? In official Malagasy is, loosely,"What is your name? Literally, it is "Who the your name? But that's neither here or there. What's funny about this particular phrase is how Waverly chooses to use it. She doesn't know much Malagasy except some basics that Chandler and I have taught her: greetings, please (and thank you and excuse me - all one word in official), and how to ask for someone's name. Oh, and "Avia! So, as a last "hurrah" as the Snyder family ...

In a Waverly World: July 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 3, 2012. No surprise here that I'm just now posting photos from almost a month ago. It was 9:30 am, 75 degrees, and Waverly wanted to swim. So swim she did. Happy, swimming girl! And singing to songs she doesn't even know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Shout Out to Moms. Ask and I Will Make the Nations Your Heritage. It's been a while. In a Waverly World: December 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 21, 2012. First Play Date in Madagascar. Our language tutor lives just down our street and has a daughter, Niriko, who is 3-years-old. She speaks no English, Waverly speaks very, very little Malagasy, so they didn't play together much except to dance. Sunday, December 9, 2012. You could do it! Loves Mickey Mouse and all of his friends, but is now into Doc McStuffins and playing "Mommy" and "Doctor". As of Friday, she sleeps in a big girl bed. Oh, and she's cute as ever. Shout Out to Moms.

In a Waverly World: June 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Um, I don't do well with loss. Really, though, who does? But it's life. I've matured a lot since those days, obviously, and I've grown in my faith, so much so, that I view death a little differently. But it's still terrifying in the sense that once someone or something is gone, it's so final. I'm dealing with that horrible feeling of finality, right now. I lost one of my most favorite people today. He was with us in spirit as we were appointed back in May, as he lay in the hospita...

In a Waverly World: November 2013
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 24, 2013. I could never love this too much. Friday, November 15, 2013. She's Here Which Means I'm No Longer Pregnant. November 4, 2013 at 2:04 pm. 6 lbs 14 oz. The truth is, by the time I arrived in Johannesburg at 34 weeks, I was over being pregnant. 3 1/2 weeks later I was really. Last photo as a family of three. I also had the glorious opportunity to hold my baby before she was wisked off to the nursery; an opportunity I was not granted with Waverly. Unfortunately, Chandler was no...

In a Waverly World: October 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29, 2012. I wish I could experience life through Waverly's eyes. 6 countries, 4 time zones, 2 continents, 1 month. She'll be 3 in March. Never before has she been around so many people with much darker skin that don't speak a lick of English, her only language. Never before have so many children wanted her attention. I just can't process what she is going through. Well, it's delicious. See how she enjoys it so much? We're from America, can you tell? Ugh I felt terrible. Mistake #4: don't ...

In a Waverly World: March 2013
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 16, 2013. Exactly the Reaction We Expected. It's true: we're pregnant! And we're way excited; Waverly, on the other hand, couldn't really care less and that's quite okay with me. What else would we have expected? Tonight she insisted that her baby was on our crate. Clueless. But we smile and nod and mutter amongst ourselves that her world will soon be rocked. Well, we'll find out, won't we? Friday, March 8, 2013. So, I'm not sad tonight as we anticipate Waverly's big day. And I'm not ...
