Friday, September 2, 2011. I'm posting again. did it catch ya off gaurd? Well, no worries. i'll keep this short. I took some photos a few weeks back of some of our garden produce. figured it was worth putting somewhere. so here we are. We expanded the garden this spring and created another veggie box - this time about 12 x 4 in size. our smaller box is now dedicated to herbs. sorry, no exciting pictures in that department. Addison is beginning her 2nd year and is now in the 3 year old room. They put you in according to when you will start kindergarten. Scary to think that this time next year we will have to start thinking about kindergarten for her! Addison ready to go to the 3 year old room. Mommy and her girls! Daddy and his girls!

Welcome and enjoy reading about what is happening in the Burgei home! Friday, July 30, 2010. 2nd Generation of Friends. In July, we were lucky enough to get our 4 kiddos together at Molly's. It was so wonderful to see them interact together. Molly had a fabulous homemade lunch for us. My Mom came down with me and the girls and Kristen and Kari came over too. It was great weather for the kids to play outside. We then went to a dinner at 5 Guys and then got ice cream at Graters! It as a wonderful day!

Friday, April 22, 2011. I feel like i haven't sat down since returning from india last month. as expected, work was busy, and i essentially traveled and worked overtime for three weeks straight - from the moment i hit US soil. i am finally catching up with friends and getting to share what all has been on my heart and what all i experienced while in india. and that is a great feeling. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Today i am making a “to-do” list of remaining things to accomplish before we leave (which is in THREE. Weeks if you are counting down like me). things on the list include “get malaria pills, find long skirts/dresses, call doctor for ambien” and so on. But as i start to check off items on the list, i am also trying to be intentional of what isn’t on my physical piece of papert but just as important to focus on daily as we get closer to leaving – prayer. Thursday, March 10, 2011. In almost 24 hours. I will be heading toward the airport to begin this much anticipated journey! Friday, February 4, 2011. Well friends, later is now. in just a little over a month i will be heading to Chennai, India! What i love about my church is that this isn't the typical mission trip. in fact, they call them "vision trips" instead. which to most may sound just as equally weird and churchy, but once you break it down, it really makes sense. A little glimpse of what we are doing out here in the burbs. Monday, September 12, 2011. Time flies when you are building a house! Isn't that the saying? Maybe not. But, time really does fly when you are building a house. One week we had a big cement hole.the next week, we have an entire house. The original estimated closing date is in just 1 month.though we assume it will get delayed a little bit. This is what the house looked like last week. Eric Marking His Territory. Eww, not really.

A little glimpse of what we are doing out here in the burbs. Sunday, December 19, 2010. Christmas In New York. Christmas in New York is.magical:). That sounds so cliche, I know. However, it is true! I don't know that pictures will translate the magic, but it's worth a shot! Ornaments have become a tradition of ours, seeing as Eric proposed with one. This ornament will be a great reminder of our first year of marriage! Here we are, exactly a year ago, getting engaged! We look pretty much the same, huh?
