We're Not in Japan Anymore. Just a little something to help Katie keep up with all those who matter to her. Monday, December 13, 2004. I've got my computer back, I'm reinstalling all my old programs, and it's slowly becoming the computer I once had. (: I hate reinstalling all those programs, and fixing all the settings (fonts, sounds, etc) so your machine is JUST the way you like it. AGAIN. :P Oh well! D I was so excited when I noticed! That's 100% MORE space to fill with JUNK! Posted by Katie Suttles.

Katie Suttles: July 2008
http://k8suttles.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 25, 2008. So moving your life into a new apartment across the state involves a lot of work, and things are still not running smoothly, but I felt like posting- finally. ;. So I found a few online/in-home tutoring places to apply to, but I haven't heard back from them. I heard about a Japanese/English language school in the area, too, and saw on their website they were looking for teachers. Hot dog! It's called the Koby Language Center. So, looking over my old notes/blogs, I see that I didn't...

Katie Suttles: Nihongo no kyoushi naritai hodo suki yo!
http://k8suttles.blogspot.com/2008/04/blog-post.html
Saturday, April 12, 2008. Nihongo no kyoushi naritai hodo suki yo! Well, that wasn't much fun- my Japanese Education teacher test. It was about what I expected, though. I guess I'm just under-educated in certain areas that, unfortunately, are important on the test but might not be pertinent knowledge to a classroom teacher. Perhaps. At least, that's how I. Feel But maybe I'm just bitter. ;. And then, some of the multiple choice questions really got me. Like one asking, what would be the best. D) Being ab...

http://k8suttles.blogspot.com/2008/03/306-steps-to-detroit.html
Monday, March 31, 2008. 306 Steps to Detroit. Hello there. The last three days were rather busy ones. First off, Friday. Jeremy and I were going to KVCC. For a conference on diversity. And it had just snowed. I was rushing when I shouldn't have been and slipped on the ice on the steps of our building. My lower back landed on the edge of a step, and my ' yoru-zakura. Well, the reason we went to Ford Field. They played Davidson this time- a small school, but they had a lot of bite! View my complete profile.

Katie Suttles: Spring reflections
http://k8suttles.blogspot.com/2008/04/spring-reflections.html
Sunday, April 6, 2008. Happy April to you. I sure hope this means Michigan is done with snow. The seasons have gotten so weird these last few years it seems, doesn't it? I think Al Gore is right: our planet is in big trouble. ):. Well, on a lighter note, I got to spend Saturday afternoon babbling on about my time at the Japan Center for Michigan Universities. Or JCMU as we lovingly call it. I spent the summer of 2002 there, studying Japanese intensively (I earned 10 credits in 9 weeks! I reflected, too, ...

We're Not in Japan Anymore. Just a little something to help Katie keep up with all those who matter to her. Tuesday, August 03, 2004. So this is my first post after getting back to the States. It feels good to be home, even if my mind and body haven't totally adjusted. :P Though I can usually shake that off in a day or so. I'm feeling better already, really. Still hungry at weird times, though. :P Ah well. Posted by Katie Suttles. E-mail: Strimple Sensei@msn.com. Links to my own sites here:. So, to view ...

We're Not in Japan Anymore. Just a little something to help Katie keep up with all those who matter to her. Thursday, July 22, 2004. Another Friday. But this one is my last day at Ashitaka. My last day working at a Japanese school in Numazu. Yesterday I taught my last two classes- I have a very vague idea of what today's schedule is like. :P I found out yesterday there is no school lunch served today- but, at least one day ahead of time isn't too late, huh? We're Not in Japan Anymore. Just a little something to help Katie keep up with all those who matter to her. Thursday, July 14, 2005. Hooooooooly cow. I think I fail at the Internet, what do you say? I really don't have any excuses. other than I felt my life was nothing interesting to be read about. Which made me think I was being egotistical to think that ANYONE still might read this. So, maybe I'll just start writing for ME instead. Long story short, the wedding planning stuff happened. :D No hitche...
