Thursday, May 20, 2010. Putting One foot in Front of the Other. When Luke is in the hospital and then the preceding week and a half or so after he is discharged I never feel quite in control of life. It's rather irritating but I have learned that I can just float along as the waves crash. Sometimes it's rough, like today, but I have learned that in my weakness, physically and spiritually, I can make it when I call on Christ for strength. This comment has been removed by the author. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Izzy Plays with Nimmi. Izzy is really becoming quite an entertaining little person. Gone are the days when she just laid there on your lap staring intently into your eyes. Now she is constantly busy. We call her our Izzy Busy Bee. Just listen to her giggle. She got a little scared at the end but she was loving Nimmi barking at her for a good 15 minutes. Friday, September 9, 2011. Welcome to 2011 (9 months in.). So this year has been amazing! Izzy had another gymnastics birthday party to celebrate her 3rd birthday. Izzy moved up to pre-school. We took a trip to Disney World. Izzy joined Ballet, Roller Skating and Gymnastics full time (gosh, she sounds really athletic but she is as clumsy as Mommy and Daddy.) We skipped Great Strides but Mommy and several friends and co-workers ran in the Brew-to-Brew relay race (about 45 miles! Not so bright and shiny.
