Saturday, November 07, 2009. This video has an interesting philosophy on art that combines scientific ideas of movement in space and time. It made me question how I used to look at art before I watched this video, e.g., art as primarily being about aesthetics, art as indulgence, art as high culture, art as pop culture, art as money-making venture, art as leisure and entertainment, etc. I began to wonder: What if art was an act of philosophizing about the world? Friday, June 30, 2006. All set for Tibet:. Have made the final payment for Tibet trip today with Little Miss Manga. Got a very detailed briefing from the tour agency about what to expect, things to bring, etc. Apparently there are 2 mountains we will be travelling by, each 4,000 over feet above sea level, and temps about 4-5 degree Celcius - Whoo hoo! Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Was at the airport over the weekend to pick up parents. Their mid-night flight got delayed and the Bak Chew found herself sitting in T2 Starbucks @ 1am in the morning. I think bag lady noticed me looking in her direction so she tried to wake herself up and minutes later, started to chat animatedly on a handphone. "Really got people call her meh? Wednesday, November 18, 2009. I have an unopened red packet.:. The red packet held a couple of coins. I never opened it. I just felt it from the outside. He told me to study hard. I don't remember if we shook hands. But I remember feeling that our meeting was somehow meaningful, and even important, in the greater scheme of things. An email came this morning.
