Eileen's Attic: March 2009
http://eileensattic.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. First of all, I did not mean to play a trick on everyone yesterday with my pictures of Betsy McCall. It never occurred to me that you'd think she was a real girl! But one of these days. I think it would be fun to show our own "Sunday Best" spring dresses that we wore as girls. Nanette from Freda's Hive. And I have talked about how much fun that would be to see pictures. Barbara is Betsy's cousin. So I'm sure there will be more about her later on. Don't you love those flowers?

Jen's Stitching Room: A Couple of Finishes
http://jensstitching.blogspot.com/2015/06/a-couple-of-finishes.html
Sunday, 14 June 2015. A Couple of Finishes. I have finished a few stitcheries but not got the actual project made up so I have decided it is time to get them done. First I did this Nikki Tervo round sewing caddie. Next is a pillowcase from Faeries in my Garden. I to make it wider as we have new pillows and they are much bigger than other pillows. None of my pillow cases fit so I will have to make a few. I also made one for John's pillow using golf themed fabric. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Jen's Stitching Room: Made for Teacup Quilts
http://jensstitching.blogspot.com/2015/05/made-for-teacup-quilts.html
Saturday, 23 May 2015. Made for Teacup Quilts. I have made a couple of quilts for Julia from Teacup Quilts over the past month or so. They are now quilted, which I didn't do, and I have yet to put the binding on them. This first one is using a panel along with the co-ordinating fabrics. I really like these 'quirky' ladies they are very different. I think I am going to have to learn to take better pics with my phone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to my room. Mountain Chronicles: A Rising Explosion
http://mountainchronicles.blogspot.com/2009/04/rising-explosion.html
Friday, April 17, 2009. When I opened the refrigerator this morning I heard a loud hissing sound. My first reaction was the freon was leaking out.no way, this is a new refrigerator. Then I thought it sounded like a soda pop spewing out, but there was not a single soda pop in the refrigerator. Now what? I carefully removed the container from the refrigerator.and gawked with amazement. Now what? Then loosely put the lid back on the container, put the container back in the refrigerator and got ready for work.

Mountain Chronicles: March 2010
http://mountainchronicles.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. I Miss the Blogging. It's a warm beautiful Friday night in West Virginia. After our long cold snowy winter, I'm delighted with the weather. Camping season is here and I can smell the campfires and lake water 25 miles away. We spent the night in our camper a few weeks ago with snow on the ground and ice on the lake.but it was a wonder weekend. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mountain Chronicles: The Patchwork Towel....
http://mountainchronicles.blogspot.com/2009/04/patchwork-towel.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. At the rate I'm moving along I may get this finished by the time we put the boat in water and it may be next year. I did not realize how time consuming re-hooping would be.it takes me longer to prepare than to stitch the design. I'll post pictures of it on my boat if I finish it this year. It matches the aqua, green, and navy seats on the boat. Last night I worked on my bear PJs. I'm going to embroider a t-shirt to match tonight if it's not to late after I finish my chores.

Mountain Chronicles: Bread...Quick and Easy...
http://mountainchronicles.blogspot.com/2009/04/breadquick-and-easy.html
Wednesday, April 15, 2009. In Five Minutes a Day! I've had friends and co-workers ask how do you make bread without any butter, sugar, or eggs? So I decided to post a few pictures of my process. First you need (have) to purchase the book. Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day. Then you need a few supplies, a pizza peel, large bucket (non metallic), oven stone or pizza stone, and good accurate measuring utensils. I purchased my supplies at King Arthur. Sprinkle the dough ball with flour and cut three slashe...
