I used a Boo Crew jelly roll and charm pack, with plain black border/binding and a 'sale' spiders/orange main border. Quilted spider webs in black. Batiks in a bargello style with machine applique. A couple of fish have teeth and blood drops. made my son grin from ear to ear when he saw them! Quilted with swirling waters and fish. Social Sewing and Classes.

The lady who made this had almost no sewing skills and no sewing machine when she started patchwork with me a little over twelve months ago. She never imagined that she could make anything like this. The quilts from the competition will be distributed throughout Australia for Neonatal Intensive Care Units to offer small quilts to families whose babies dies before or at birth.
