Just the random musings of a Christian wife, mother, and homemaker. One Day When I Get My Act Together. I too, often find myself living with that kind of mindset. It is ultimately lack of contentment and lack of trust in Christ's purpose for my life. I have a hard time just living in the moment sometimes. But if I don't, I'll miss out on the everyday lessons God has for me. I also pray for spiritual eyes to see God's "artwork" of the everyday aspects of grace in my life. You bring your mother a live frog and say, "isn't he cute? And yes, I called the pediatrician about the possibility of lyme's disease and she said because it didn't embed itself -ew! Ordinary saturday; it must be parkrun day. I’m not a serious runner by any means and only started running 4 years ago doing couch to 5k but I love it and do a 5k run at least twice a week.
