We hold regular crew training days to induct new crew members, and to keep the skills of experienced crew members current. One training day was held at the Riverboat Centre. Training covered docking and locking principles, essential knots and rope handling and on-board fire drills and bilge pump operations. Skipper E.J. Thorp explaining docking and locking principles. The DART presently sits on chocks on the river bank,. Under the Hindmarsh Island bridge. The DART moored by the Ferry landing. Loading bales onto the DART.
