Kimberley's Front Porch: Dad's Hot Salsa
http://kimberleysfrontporch.blogspot.com/2010/09/dads-hot-salsa.html
Monday, September 13, 2010. My Dad has been making salsa for years. He's always coming up with a new recipe. They are always so good. When I went home for my sister's wedding last year this was his latest salsa recipe. I seem to live in the land of bland when it comes to restaurants, this salsa is the bee's knees in comparison to any restaurant in town. 7 cans Rotel tomatoes, slightly drained. 1 C chopped cilantro or to taste. Pour 4 cans Rotel into a large bowl. Chill overnight so the flavors will blend.

Kimberley's Front Porch: Sure signs of Autumn
http://kimberleysfrontporch.blogspot.com/2010/09/its-my-favorite-time-of-year.html
Thursday, September 2, 2010. Sure signs of Autumn. It's my favorite time of the year. It's officially September and signs of Fall are starting to show. There's Apple Cider and Caramel Apples in the grocery store. I saw the first tiny bit of Fall foliage on one little tree at the gas station. Time to get out the Fall decorations. Bake something that fills the house with the scent of pumpkin and cinnamon. Cook some soups and stews. Go to the Mill and buy some fresh apples, cider and donuts. I'm Kimberley&#...

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Lucky me, I found a way to upload my pictures until I get the new photo software. ; ). I have been looking through my handwritten recipe book. Monday, September 13, 2010. I had a few bananas that were perfect for baking. These muffins are so good, not too sweet. The only problems is, the recipe only makes 12. ; ). 1/4 C egg beaters. 1/2 C melted butter. 1 1/2 C. flour. 1 t baking soda. 1 t baking powder. 3/4 C chopped nuts. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Living A Good Food Life: July 2013
http://livingagoodfoodlife.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Living A Good Food Life. An exploration of food and recipes for the home cook. Friday, July 26, 2013. An appreciation of Southern cooking. I've just returned from a food- and scenery-rich family reunion in South Carolina. I was fortunate to spend a week on a lovely beach in the low country, with big sky, dolphins, and a much warmer Atlantic Ocean. One of the best aspects of the trip was, of course, constant access to Southern food. Uncle Frank's and cousin Laura's creation. 2 c whole milk. Measure out cr...

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I Heart The Duggars and Homemade Laundry Soap. Did you know the new season of 19 Kids and Counting starts tonight? I'll be watching, will you? I just refilled my laundry soap dispenser and thought I would share this recipe with you. Several years ago I use to make laundry soap. I lost the recipe when we moved. With the high price for HE soap and a call from my sister, I thought I would start making it again and save a penny or two along the way. Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap.
