Our Kitchen Klatch: Sweet Snack Mix

http://www.ourkitchenklatch.blogspot.com/2008/02/sweet-snack-mix.html

Good Food, Good Friends. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. I decided that that was a lot - so I doubled this recipe for the sauce:. 3/4 cup dark corn syrup. 1-1/2 cups light brown sugar. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the ingredients. In the meantime, you should preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Then you take this sticky syrupy mix and pour it evenly over the aforementioned mixture of crunchy snacks and mix thoroughly. February 29, 2008 at 6:03 PM. It is like sweet sticky crack.".

Our Kitchen Klatch: OOEY-GOOEY Crumbly-n-Chewy Granola Bars

http://www.ourkitchenklatch.blogspot.com/2008/02/ooey-gooey-crumbly-n-chewy-granola-bars.html

Good Food, Good Friends. Sunday, February 17, 2008. OOEY-GOOEY Crumbly-n-Chewy Granola Bars. I got annoyed with how much granola bars cost - AND we are trying to reduce waste so the less "packaging" we purchase the happier I am. I decided to try making our own granola bars. I found a recipe on allrecipes.com but had to modify it to suit us. William has the job of cutting up the sticks of butter and melting them. Also he like to help mix and pour ingredients. here is the result:. 4-1/2 cups rolled oats.

Eat It And Weep. Sharing food that's so good it'll bring tears to your eyes. Sunday, January 25, 2009. Batten down the hatches. I have "invented" a new recipe with SOY. No meat here, kids. Nope. Added bonus is that my kids all love it too. Preheat large electric skillet. Cut one large round steak into strips about 2" x 1/4". Cook in hot pan until browned, stirring occasionally. Season as desired (I like to use Tastefully Simple Seasoned Salt). Serve with warmed, whole wheat tortillas. April 9, 2008 at 1:31 AM. The Left Over Queen.
