Saturday, April 20, 2013. I am a Homemaker. I think, NO, I know it doesn't. Then I think of the movie "The Help" and how they had defined roles (even if they did have "help" and I don't, that's where my brain went, circa 1950 America). The man works and earns and the wife is home and makes a HOME. I am a HOME MAKER. I make a HOME. It is not a perfect home. It is full of laughs, raised voices, adventures and exhaustion. But I do (sometimes). I make a home. Most of all I make myself happy. Very well said :).

Life on Packard Family Farm. Monday, March 16, 2015. Tomorrow, my littlest man will wake up as a big 11-month-old. Tonight was probably the last time nursing will be a part of our bedtime routine. Tomorrow morning will probably be the last time I ever nurse a baby. This is the longest I have ever nursed and more than anything, I am thankful.
