Life on Packard Family Farm. Friday, January 31, 2014. The Countdown (of Misery) begins. Third Trimester. So we meet again. As you see to the right, that fourth ticker's "Days To Go" number is getting pretty small. Last week, I officially started my third trimester. Which means, good times are over. I now have over 2 months of agonizing heartburn, insomnia, RLS, shortness of breath, fatigue, soreness, need I go on? Every third trimester I've had, I grumble and swear under my breath that I will never.

I have a dear friend that is battling crazy postpartum hormones. I have been trying to visit with her on a regular basis to help her not feel so alone (since it's easy to feel alone out here in the country). I felt a teeny pang of guilt. My middle two watch PBS.
