running with 4 muddy paws: April 2015
http://runningwith4muddypaws.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Running with 4 muddy paws. Sunday, April 19, 2015. Recently my husband and I binge watched Friday Night Lights. That is 76 episodes.and nearly 76 hours of TV watching. It was worth it. I was surprised how much I liked this show. When it was on "regular" TV years ago I thought I would never watch it, who wants to watch a show about high school football in Texas? So by being humbled, I am staying hungry to keep things interesting, new and adventurous. Humble and Hungry, I like it. Now for some photos:.

Running with 4 muddy paws. Friday, April 20, 2012. Reeling it in, at least trying to. Umstead 100 was just about 3 weeks ago and recovery is slow going. My diet is pretty much back to normal and my desire to return to my regular workout routine is there, but my legs are not. I should say, my one leg is not. I feel like Homer when I am running. I had a massage by the fabulous Leah. I could not get up on the box 2x during the workout and hit my shin in the same place each time. Thursday, April 5, 2012.

Running with 4 muddy paws. Monday, November 18, 2013. Revelations from Jury Duty and some running stories. Recently I was summoned for jury duty. My first reaction was.what a drag! I renewed my library card and checked out a book. Our library here in Seattle is quite cool. There is quite a red theme in the library. I was flabbergasted. I was also intrigued. So I did some research and began my training. Having a great time at Cougar, photo credit: Glenn Tachiyama. We gave one to friend Eric Purpus who had...

Running with 4 muddy paws. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Thanksgiving weekend- -5 days of NO WORK! I am grateful to have job in these tough times, however, I am equally, if not more grateful to have time off. I had a whole 5 days off with a race in the middle. My niece is a freshman at Western Washington University and she came down on Wednesday to spend the weekend. We spent the first 24 hours eating and watching movies. Totally relaxing! Running with 4 muddy paws. Monday, August 22, 2011. Relapse Prevention and the Gambler. Cascade Crest 100 is approaching, it is this weekend. And although I. I am doing the right thing by sitting this one out, it's becoming increasingly difficult to see myself on the sidelines. I so much want to be out there running. I keep telling myself what a good thing that is, that my desire and my passion for running is as alive as ever and the fact that I am chomping at the bit. Um, maybe I could do Cascade Crest!

running with 4 muddy paws: Who says you can't replace running?
http://runningwith4muddypaws.blogspot.com/2015/06/who-says-you-cant-replace-running.html
Running with 4 muddy paws. Saturday, June 6, 2015. Who says you can't replace running? For now.it's exploring news things as my lifestyle shifts. As the old joke goes, what is the best way to make God (or insert your word here) laugh? Tell her your plans! Got up at 4:30 on a Saturday to hike to the top of Mt. Tennerife. Still foggy on the way down, but so beautiful and quiet. Anyone for tennis, after coffee? Rising above the clouds to McClellen Butte. Ivy gets a ride from her mama. I dont have a name!
