http://romyaustria.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 27 February 2012. I'm close to the finishing of my new sampler. It's again a traditional sampler with traditional motives of my region but I have choosen black and muted pink silks - like my motto "Tradition with Future". Not sure how to write in English, but maybe something like. Create new things with the preservation of the good, old traditon". Hopefully I can show the finished model soon! And will become inspriations for them? We never will know, but isn't it a wonderful thought? Back with a ...

And today I want to share with you the first picture. The sampler has a stitch count from 110x132 and is primary stitched with Gentle Art Sampler Threads. On 32 count raw linen. The saying is stitched one over one. I really have enjoyed the stitching and designing and I hope you will enjoy it also. It should be available soon at your LNS. L'Atelier Perdu...

Nearly Insane Quilts: Block 3
http://nearlyinsanequilts.blogspot.com/2009/10/block-3.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. Well, hopefully we're back to our regularly scheduled blocks. Here is everything set out for this week's blocks. On the side are two piles, one for 1/2 square triangles. And the other for flying geese. Here are things with the flying geese and 1/2 square triangles. Plus, I've done the centre square-in-a-square. Now I've added the middle border. And then the outer border finishes off the block. Thanks for the small break, I needed it! October 26, 2009 at 6:46 AM.

Nearly Insane Quilts: Block 10
http://nearlyinsanequilts.blogspot.com/2009/07/block-10.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. My apologies. I completely flaked out and forgot to post a block yesterday. This is another simple block for us this week. (In my neck of the woods, it's too hot to sew! We have short summers so I enjoy them while I can. Here is everything all set out and ready to go. The pile of fabric in the upper left corner will make the flying geese. Here is the block with the inner 9-patch assembled. Now we just need to add the final outer border. And our next block is done! I am 3 behind!

http://romyaustria.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 27 April 2010. I have pulled out my friendship quilt again. I have started it back in 2003 and I have collected a lot of beautiful stitched squares from my stitching friends around the world. I have choosen maybe a time consuming way of the finishing, but so the quilt is always and never finished. I love this rememberance of stitching friendship and I really have to add a view more squares to the quilt soon. Here you can see how the front and the back look like at the moment. I think vegetable i...
