Wednesday, December 14, 2011. A Few Months Later. It seems as though life is flying by and I am not keeping up with this blog! Hopefully in a few words I can update you on our lives these past few months. Since our last post. Taylor turned 2 on August 24th! Although she really didn't have any desire to talk in the past, her vocabulary has taken off! We love her enthusiasm. Hopefully it will stay that way. I will say, however, that nothing melts my heart more than snuggling with her. At night ...I pray sh...

40 Minus 365: February 2011
http://40minus365.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A lighthearted look at the year between my 39th and 40th birthdays. Saturday, February 26, 2011. It's finally here. My new blog. Crazy to think of having a long-term blog, but I finally decided to take the plunge. Seeking to be more intentionally focused on transformational living in God's kingdom on earth, I have titled the blog "The Unshakeable Kingdom." To find out why, read my first post at www.theunshakeablekingdom.wordpress.com. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Joy in the Journey . . .: Camping & Cowboys
http://jasonandnicole.blogspot.com/2013/05/camping-cowboys.html
Saturday, May 18, 2013. Two Tired. Kids. I am so thankful for these two and crazy proud of them. We just truck them around on planes and in cars, tuck them into a different bed every few nights or so and they just totally roll with it. There are moments of grief for sure but I don't think I could ask more of a 3 and 4 year old. Noah and the string lights guiding us to our tent. Getting ready for our nature treasure hunt. Noah getting in a swing on Alan's arm. Self portraits in the tent. And a true taste ...

Joy in the Journey . . .: January 2013
http://jasonandnicole.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 01, 2013. While in Brisbane, my brave girl had her first official dentist's visit and professional cleaning. Ella tends to be a little reserved and can be slow to warm in new situations, so I wasn't sure how this visit would go over. I am so proud of her. She showed no hesitation or fear whatsoever! Why visit a dentist on your Christmas holiday to another state? Well, that's what you do when one of your best friends happens to be an excellent dentist! Better the one you know, right?

Joy in the Journey . . .: October 2011
http://jasonandnicole.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 03, 2011. Before a little boy turns TWO soon, I wanted to post about a little girl turning THREE a few months ago. Ella developed a liking for Hello Kitty during our time in the US so that was her cake choice this year. I really enjoy making cakes for my kids. It's a good memory I have from my childhood and a tradition I'm happy to pass on. I'm not a particularly crafty person, but I can usually make a cake that resembles something! Sam does an amazing job on the cake each year. Keeping i...

40 Minus 365: October 2010
http://40minus365.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A lighthearted look at the year between my 39th and 40th birthdays. Sunday, October 17, 2010. I spent the weekend at the World Mission Workshop with 100 mission-minded college students and the missionaries who were there to teach and mold the young students. There are few things more exhausting than college students interested in missions. One group that is more exhausting, though, are adults who are, were, or were raised as missionaries. There are unspoken understandings among missionaries: understandin...
