THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE. So it's goodbye to the guy. For whom the fates decided. That however hard you try. With bad luck you've collided. But however far you're down. The wheel of fortune's turning. Provided that you smile not frown. A new life you'll be learning. The sky's the limit, I tell a lie. It's cyberspace that makes us high. Feeding our dreams with promise of wealth. http://steffanymaher.weebly.com/adv-writing.html
Light in a Darkened World. English with Mrs. Maher. A and B Lit. Advanced Writing and Literature. Shakespeare, Austen, Hemingway, Poe, Hawthorne, Dickens, Lewis. As Christians, we have a responsibility to share the Good News and to bring light to a darkened world. Yet how can we know what our world needs if we do not know our world? How can we be the hands and feet of Jesus if we do not know the people who need Him? What of the oppressed races, the women and children, the elderly and orphaned? Argue clea...

History & mythology. I’m watching you. Moon at Midnight Part XXXXII (day 2016). December 5, 2016 2349. On the third day we left. As always, it was hard to leave Amy, Frank, and Clarinet. But it was necessary. For I could see that Moon Cow and Tall Pine. Were eager to return to the family. I missed Willow and Lily. The first night we camped it was very cold. So cold, we woke up with a layer of frost on us. This made me a bit grumpy, and of course stiff. But soon we had a fire going. We made some warm tea.
Poems I Like | Ones I've collected down the years
August 4, 2015. Between plunging valleys, on a bareback of hill. Men in bunting colours. Bounced, and their blown ball bounced. The blown ball jumped, and the merry-coloured men. Spouted like water to head it. The ball blew away downwind. The rubbery men bounced after it. The ball jumped up and out and hung in the wind. Over a gulf of treetops. Then they all shouted together, and the blown ball blew back. Winds from fiery holes in heaven. Piled the hills darkening around them. Banks of a Canal. The coolt...

The trains are crowded tonight. Newcastle are playing that team from Spain. Shoulder to shoulder we fight. The bombers have struck again and again. They're our opponents who vie for the prize. Our glorious companions with tears in our eyes. Across the gleaming Tyne. Some lives about to intertwine. Up from London black guy Ed. Geoff the poet in Gateshead. Two blonde women friendship shared. Kathy K who's quite red haired. And a sparkling host of others. Passing by with some as lovers. Tall Brown eyes An o...
