Raising Dinah

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Timothy 1:5. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. If I'm going to be totally honest, I have to say the last month of my stay-at-home mom journey has been particularly hard. It just has. Jack picked up a cold, probably from his habit of putting everything. In his mouth. Then it spread throughout our household. So, in short, we've all been a sleepy, cranky mess. We had on hand and went to work. Monday, May 5, 2014.

Raising Dinah: August 2013

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Timothy 1:5. Thursday, August 1, 2013. Depriving the Pregnant Woman of Ice Cream in the Summer. So, as the doctor instructed, I met with a dietician and started checking my blood sugar four times a day. The dietician went over how to read food labels to stay under my carbs for each meal and snack (apparently sugar is a category under the carbohydrate umbrella, who knew? And what foods I could eat, etc.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Timothy 1:5. Monday, May 5, 2014. Having grown up with two brothers myself, I knew how special it was to have siblings. So, I always knew I wanted more than one child so they would have that too. Now that I have two, I'm incredibly grateful that they have each other. Nothing warms my heart like seeing the love and adoration they have for each other. And, it started the day Jack was born.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Timothy 1:5. Monday, July 29, 2013. From Baby to Little Girl. A little over a week ago, we closed on the house and are officially homeowners again. It needs a little updating, but nothing major, and it's in decent shape for the amount we were willing to spend. Now we don't have to move again. Bonus! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dinah and her handsome daddy aka Hubby. From Baby to Little Girl.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Timothy 1:5. Monday, April 14, 2014. Stop growing up. Seriously. This is getting ridiculous. I mean, I don't expect you to stay babies forever, but geez. Give me more than a day. Yesterday, Jack was an 8lb 5oz newborn. Today he's sitting up, army crawling across the room to get into whatever has caught his eye, rocking on all fours, grinning and showing off his five teeth, and laughing at his sister.

Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Thursday, February 25, 2010. I mentioned in my first post that we'd felt God leading us to stop taking birth control. I thought I'd share (and document) how it all went down. Thursday, February 18, 2010. Doctors, Friends, and Challenges. Chronicles of a Raspberry: D-Day

http://babyrasberry.blogspot.com/2010/10/d-day.html

Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. I was scheduled for induction the morning of Sept. 22nd. I didn't want an induction, and was praying that little britches would decide to come on her own. And this is what happened. It took hours to get to 4cm before the epidural, and an hour and a half to dilate 5cm more after the epi. So, I pushed a couple times, and then.shift change! Cannot wait to see pics! Chronicles of a Raspberry: It's settled- The Long Story

http://babyrasberry.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-settled-long-story.html

Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Friday, March 26, 2010. It's settled- The Long Story. I want to stay home with my baby. After I read that, I started researching ways to work from home. So, please pray that either Dean’s job picks up enough that we can afford for me to stay home, or that I can find something to do from home to make up for my income. It’s funny how much God has changed my view and my dreams in the last few years. March 26, 2010 at 11:05 AM.

Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Friday, July 30, 2010. Stresses and Doctors. It's getting real. Remember when I posted something once every week or two? It seems to be getting more frequent now. There is a distinct possibility that the reason for this is the fact that we only have EIGHT weeks left! Do I try to manage part-time and get an individual insurance plan? We have not had good luck with those in the past) Do I quit altogether and leave it up to God?

Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Friday, November 5, 2010. Remember when I had a baby, and finally got around to writing about it two weeks later? Chronicles of a Raspberry. The journey of my pregnancy with our first child. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Our mystery is solved. You've got to love modern technology. Thanks to ultrasound equipment, and a cute sonographer (whose husband is apparently a coworker of mine.small world), we found out we're having a girl. We're so excited! We would've been just as excited for a boy, but the suspense was killing us! This is her face, and her little upper body. And why wouldn't she be? Look at her mother! Time wil...

An online collective of earthbelly projects to grow, nourish, and inspire. I carry around the notion that we can create Utopia on Earth. I hear it whispered among green leaves. I feel it rising through my feet as I stand firmly fixed in the forest. I taste its saltiness on my tongue as I rise from the depths of the ocean. I smell it in dark handfuls of rich soil. I see it in the smiles of my children. Will you join me? Please watch our video below and then check out our Kickstarter campaign here. Then lo...

And then 11,000 feet hit me upside the head, and I had to come down well below the summit. And then we had Magnus, who earned his name by coming out with a mullet and feet he could paddleboard on. And I love him to death, but how in the world are we going to convince two little suckers to get out the door, at the same time, for some outdoor adventures?
