Mystical Ramblings
Jason's crap with a dash of brilliance. Thursday, June 26, 2014. Richard Rohr wrote: ". it is really possible to have [a] very ugly morality and sometimes [a] rather beautiful immorality". P206 in "Yes, And"). I feel Rohr also reminds us that imperfection is not actually a bad thing. He talks about the metaphor of pottery and biblical language of "earthen vessels" and also Leonard Cohen's song 'Anthem' which contains the words "There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in". May I grow eve...

A blog that nobody.err several people read. (One of millions!

Walks To Do List. Monday, 14 January 2013. Smiddy Shaw and Waskerley Reservoirs. Date: Saturday, 13th January 2013. No walk today but the car needed a run out, I needed to go somewhere to test my new camera and, to be honest, I just needed some fresh air. Got a bit more than I bargained for on the freshness side but it was good to get out :-). Took a few more shots of the surrounding area. A bit of a shame that I didn't even get a little walk done but, I think the camera performed OK and at least I got a...

Thoughts and Rambles
A peek into this charmed life punctuated by wanderlust. Sunday, December 5, 2010. I'd never ridden a train before. Okay, that's not true. I once rode the Hood River scenic train in The Dalles, while in Oregon visiting my grandparents. It had been my grandmother's idea. The ride lasted about 20 minutes and I think I was about 6 years old. But to me, it didn't really count, because all the romance and excitement of traveling by train required that a significant. That, I thought, I hadn't done. He yelled...

The Rambling Nappa
Too old to rant now, he just rambles on (and on) about any old nonsense. Wednesday, 18 March 2009. In February 2008 the Rambling Nappa decided that, after being so long away, he'd better re-invent himself. So he went rumbling:. Http:/ www.rumblingnappa.blogspot.com. Monday, 7 April 2008. We was able to see her strange crab like shape and her mincing dangerous looking spines and of course that white back that looks like a skull to me! Monday, April 30, 2012. Although the berries should not be consumed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, February 14, 2009. Obama needs to follow his own rules. Well, the "stimulus package" (though I find it very full of earmarks), has finally passed the House and Senate and will be on it's way to the Presidents desk for signing. Here is a big beef I have right now though. I read this on the CNN web site and thought this was kind of setting up a bad presidence. Voting began about 5:30 pm Then, the Senate. Chamber sat nearly empty until Brown arrived to vote about five hours later. I think it is a ...
