Thoughts and Rambles

A peek into this charmed life punctuated by wanderlust. Sunday, December 5, 2010. I'd never ridden a train before. Okay, that's not true. I once rode the Hood River scenic train in The Dalles, while in Oregon visiting my grandparents. It had been my grandmother's idea. The ride lasted about 20 minutes and I think I was about 6 years old. But to me, it didn't really count, because all the romance and excitement of traveling by train required that a significant. That, I thought, I hadn't done. He yelled&#4...

The Rambling Nappa

Too old to rant now, he just rambles on (and on) about any old nonsense. Wednesday, 18 March 2009. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Obama needs to follow his own rules. Well, the "stimulus package" (though I find it very full of earmarks), has finally passed the House and Senate and will be on it's way to the Presidents desk for signing. Chamber sat nearly empty until Brown arrived to vote about five hours later. I think it is a ...
