But really, what is the most fun job which is there in society today? And you have the amazing satisfaction of making people laugh. And that, in my opinion, tips the scale. While I refer to stand up comedy in particular since I am thinking from an individualistic point of view, I guess this can be extended to comedy in general....

The speed with which thoughts flit across the mind’s landscape, without bias, without being given a preferential extra deep probe, tires me, disturbs me. And it raises the eternal question I have. What is peace of mind? Is it the ability to train your thought process on just one thought, or , is it being at peace with all your thoughts? What does that guy think of me? What’s his name again? By doing so, am I a martyr?

I have taken quite a significant turn in the material I have been reading as of late, and Andrew Murray is a "new" author that I have enjoyed immensely. I have had a craving for more spiritually intellectual material and Murray strikes that balance very well. It is one part devotional material and one part theology, both playing off one another in a divine soliloquy. Its worth it; eternally worth it.
