Rambling RaRa: April 2011

http://www.ramblingrara.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Bella insisted on wearing her tennis shoes with her pajamas tonight. I guess she wants to be prepared for anything! At least they matched! Sunday, April 24, 2011. With Grant's mom being here recuperating. From her hip surgery we decided to have Easter at our house this year. It was my first Easter dinner and I couldn't have done it with out her help and the help of my sister-in-law, Melinda. My earlier post featured my first Coconut Cream pie. Ann is a great teacher! She is hav...

Rambling RaRa: October 2011

http://www.ramblingrara.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 27, 2011. We made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday and had all kinds of fun! First we had to measure how much Bella had grown from last year. Wow, doesn't she look different! Then she had to take pictures too! And then we needed to meet the scarecrow! Daddy and Bella needed to be pumpkins, after all we are at a pumpkin patch! Picking pumpkins with Strawberry Shortcake. Little does Bella know that she was one of her mother's favorite characters growing up. It has survived a...

Rambling RaRa: May 2011

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Because of Bella being premature the doctor wanted to do a 21 month check up, which we did today. She is 35 inches tall and 27.9 pounds. That puts her in the 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight. We went to Salt Lake City this weekend to see my sister-in-law graduate with her doctorate in Physical Therapy. We enjoyed beautiful weather and lots of good family time. No, we did not put Bella in a cage for her bad behavior! Tuckered out on the plane ride home!

Life of a Middle Age Woman: Wicked

http://lifeofamiddleagewoman.blogspot.com/2010/06/wicked.html

Life of a Middle Age Woman. Monday, June 7, 2010. Saturday, I went to see Wicked at the Dallas Fair Park Music Hall with my friends Sandy and Andrea. Originally Connie was going with us but her granddaughter's dance recital was on the same day, so Andrea bought her ticket. We had a great time. I thought it was good but not as good as Phantem of the Opera which I really really love. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Skip To My Lou. Come and "Create Joy" at Anthologies! Love of my life.

Trying to capture my family's moments as quickly as they happen. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Papers, papers everywhere. Well, I finally finished this organization project idea that I got from pinterest. I hate having all of those papers loose on the counters. I needed a place to put ALL those things that come out of school folders each day, as well as mail, things to put elsewhere, etc. I got the black folders and bin at The Container Store. Let's see if it works! Cut slits i...

We missed Julie, Lauren, Teri, Sandy and sorry that Angie had to leave on Saturday. Dede was the life of the party as usual keeping us all laughing all weekend.

Ed went dove hunting the first weekend of September, football season has begun, the weather is getting a little cooler no more 100 degree days. It is time to break out the fall decorations, plan the October Scrapbooking retreat, and Boo Buddies at work. I baked an apple pie this weekend, cupcakes, and banana bread.ymmmmmmmm. My Musings

Saturday, February 11, 2012. States’ Rights: The Issue for 2012 and Beyond. Bringing these ideas fully into reality requires a power greater than any tyranny we have seen: any move from the citizens that does not pass through the rulers’ calculations runs a high risk of derailing the system to some extent: eating more than one has been allotted, buying a product one is not allowed to have, disparaging the ruler to other citizens. Many American politicians act like Philosopher Kings, not representatives.
