Reese Family

Today was the first official day of football season for Cole. He had three scrimmage games all morning long. It was humid and hot, but everyone had fun. Cole is playing cornerback on defense, and wide receiver on offense. He does not like wearing a helmet at all! There are 45 kids on the team, so it is crazy. Football is completely different than soccer and we are adjusting, but it has been fun so far. I took the kids swimming tonight and Liv went off the high dive for the first time! We spent the past w...

We spent the weekend in Indiana. It's a little over a 4 hour drive for us, so it wasn't too bad. We spent time eating, especially lots of ice cream, and swimming. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Mr. and Mrs. A few random pictures from my phone.

On the last night of our vacation we celebrated the wedding of my brother and his new wife. It was a beautiful evening! Reese Family: Weekly Happenings

http://www.ramblingreeses.blogspot.com/2015/05/weekly-happenings.html

Things are getting busy at school with only a few weeks left. The kids have lots of fun field trips planned this week alone. Ethan is going on a field trip tomorrow to canoe down a river. Cole is going to the library for a field trip and Liv is going to the Zoo on Tuesday. Ethan had three games this weekend. They won two and lost the other. He played well. Liv had her spring gymnastic performance. We also did Ethan's birthday piñata a few weeks ago, which I never blogged about. Liv and I went on a shoppi...

The Miller Family: June 2013

http://millerrubbish.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 14, 2013. So it just hit me that we are moving in two weeks! I've already started some packing, and the walls are bare. It's now sinking in that I am leaving this town and the awesome people I know here. I need to make some memories and take lots more pictures before we leave! Here he is at his end of first grade luau party:. Here is Teslyn on our way to his school. I carried his scooter. And one big tooth has filled in his gap so far. And he insisted we sit outside to enjoy it. A real one&#...

The Miller Family: May 2013

http://millerrubbish.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 9, 2013. I took a picture on my way to the temple, then one on my way out, after dark. That was it for southern Idaho. It did snow on us a bit there. How do the kids survive so long in the car? Movies, leapster, ipad, books, and lots and lots of dollar store toys. Fargo was almost 12 hours each way. 24 hour round trip, in a longer weekend this time. There was a bit of cool scenery for a brief part of it. And surprisingly a lot of random sculptures. We were in Fargo for Easter Sunday. Th...

Bangerter Family: April 2010

http://bangerterfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

The Green Dragons came back with a vengeance, they won by a land slide this week. Justin Bubert was back and brought new energy to little Dragons. He put on quite the show. Everyone tried much harder and it showed. It's fun to see them rewarded with a win after last weeks lost. Look at the determination in their faces, they wanted it so bad. You would almost think they were competing against each other. Justin Bubert in control of the ball, he was the MVP for sure. Posted by Bangerter family. Ricky think...

Bangerter Family: February 2010

http://bangerterfamily.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Kauai, "under the sea". We had a lot of fun in the ocean on our trip. Ricky got an underwater housing for my camera and that's how we got the underwater pictures. We saw lots of turtles and cool fish when we went scuba diving, it was so much fun. We also did a lot of snorkeling. I still think my favorite memory was the whales, they are so big! This is the calf, it didn't come clear out of the water like it's mom did, but it was still pretty cool. Here is the proof that the boys swam with dolphins. We fou...

The Miller Family: October 2014

http://millerrubbish.blogspot.com/2015/02/october-2014.html

Saturday, February 7, 2015. This sweet, thoughtful, energetic, creative and silly little lady turned 5 in October. I wanted her day to be special so I let her decide how things should go. She wanted a pony pinata and with limited choices in town, we decided to make our own. This is how it turned out. Can you tell it's a pony head? Teslyn has five fingers for turning five years old. She has been working on writing her name and wanted to spell it on her cake as well. She did awesome! Look at that face!

Two of a Kind. Monday, May 30, 2011. A New Baby and Memorial Day. Sweet little Baby J has finally arrived! As you can imagine everyone. In the family is thrilled to have the little peanut here. (especially his favorite aunt). Not sure why this picture is sideways. So worth turning your head for. :). I definitely got camera happy everytime I held the babe. Me with the Mama of the hour! http://millerrubbish.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 7, 2014. For the long Thanksgiving weekend we decided to head to Utah to be with our families and have Mia blessed. Nick gave a fantastic blessing and it was great to be surrounded by loved ones. Mia was almost 3 months old. Here are a few of my favorite shots. It wasn't too cold in Utah yet and the lights were on at Temple Square in Salt Lake City so we took the kids to see. I didn't know Thanksgiving weekend was such a popular time to go, it was jam packed there! Here is a picture of o...

Here is a video of our trip to Canyonlands, just click on this photo to start the video. Posted by Bangerter family. We had another fun trip down to Moab. We actually stayed near Canyonlands out in the sticks and had a ball with the Rangers, Wheelers, Jeeps, and remote controlled cars. This is one happy camper, no matter the weather, no matter how much wind, this kid wants to be outside. Posted by Bangerter family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Friday, June 27, 2014. So, Luis Suarez has been banned for 4 months from 'all football-related activity' by FIFA. If FIFA had acted half as swiftly as it did on Suarez on allegations of corruption against itself, then there wouldn't be hundreds of workers dying in Qatar as well. But who am I to judge the all-powerful FIFA right? Should we really be surprised? The carrot or the stick? Would FIFA have been better off by banning Suarez from playing football and instead arranging for him to attend therapy?

Wednesday, September 10, 2014. We are now transitioning to Fall. School has started, the days are slowly becoming cooler, and leaves are beginning to change colors once again. In welcoming September, the littles and I made applesauce and apple banana bread. We used The Pioneer Woman's. Recipe to make our applesauce. For applesauce lovers, this is a must try! Next, I had some bananas that were beginning to turn brown, and from where I now had some extra applesauce on hand we also made apple banana bread.

Ramblings left to the ether, like the bubbles sent to the air.etchings on the wall, lines on the sand.as I walk past, in these shores of time. Friday, August 14, 2015. It is that time of the year. Boxes around, passport out, baggage allowance restrictions. A damp morning outside. These flights which move from here to there to here to there. Crowds, mountains, blue berries, traffic jams, swearing. We who put our tents about like just anywhere. Every conversation a fleeting wind. One can carry only so much.

Rambling Reflections | An open diary of my journey through school, day-to-day life and my thoughts on the world around me

An open diary of my journey through school, day-to-day life and my thoughts on the world around me. Fireworks on the Waterfront. July 17, 2015. July 16, 2015. One good thing about living in small town on the water is that when the community gets together, it turns into a warm, loving atmosphere. This year for the July 4th weekend, a lot of my family came down to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate Independence day than to watch the fireworks at our town’s waterfront?
