Wednesday, September 10, 2014. We are now transitioning to Fall. School has started, the days are slowly becoming cooler, and leaves are beginning to change colors once again. In welcoming September, the littles and I made applesauce and apple banana bread. We used The Pioneer Woman's. Recipe to make our applesauce. For applesauce lovers, this is a must try! Next, I had some bananas that were beginning to turn brown, and from where I now had some extra applesauce on hand we also made apple banana bread.

We spent the past w...

One good thing about living in small town on the water is that when the community gets together, it turns into a warm, loving atmosphere. This year for the July 4th weekend, a lot of my family came down to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate Independence day than to watch the fireworks at our town’s waterfront? So today I set a challenge for my two beautiful children, Summar would choose and cook lunch while Llewyn would design/prepare and cook a dinner our tonight. With no restriction on cost, produce and time, I was completely surprised with the decisions made. So the sausage rolls turned out just p...
