I decided to make some attempt to clean and organize the yarn studio today. I think I have everything in my stash on Ravelry now, and there is 104 miles of yarn in my yarn studio. So, instead of blogging, and I going to take some bulky yarn and actually knit something until it is done today. I have to actually use this, starting wtih the stuff that has been wound. Only 4 more days.

Ramblings of a Social Outcast. Friday, November 02, 2007. I've always know I was adopted, it's not as if it is something my parents could hide even if they wanted to. I had a lot of mixed feelings about adoption as a young child. My first though was what was wrong with me that made my mommy not want be. There must be something terribly wrong with a child for her mother to not want them. I still feel the urge to be the best I can, so that maybe, when I meet her, she'll be proud of me. Saturday, December 27, 2008. On December 11th, my daughter Sherise had a darling baby boy. He is my first grandchild. His name is Maxwell Porter Robertson. He weighed 6lbs 13 oz. and was 19 " long. He has lot of dark brown hair. He is a good baby and hardly ever cries. I spent a couple of days and nights helping Sherise, mostly just holding the baby. Grandkids are the best. He's a pooping and farting machine. I have never seen or smelt anything like it. I guess he is a true boy. Sunday, October 12, 2008.

Ramblings from the cold north. Saturday, July 4, 2015. He gots a job. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Project; fixing up at the farm. We've gotten a good start fixing up at the farm. The cellar is DRY! Which means I can actually store things down there. The reason we need a stone wall there, is to prevent the whole barn from gliding out. Next weekend we're putting up stones and filling in dirt for a flowerbed from the steps along the house to the driveway. I'm going to see if I can get roses to grow up there...
