Ramblings of an Older American Woman

Ramblings of an Older American Woman. I love to write. Like many older women I tend to ramble when telling a story. But writing for the Baja Citizen has forced me to focus and control my wanderings. Enjoy but please do not reproduce because, who knows, some day I may compile them into a little book. Tuesday, October 2, 2012. I admit it. I lied. The fib began two years ago, immediately after I’d written and sent my first story to The Baja Citizen. 8221; She said, “It will hurt like Hell”. That afternoon I...

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. April 24-28, 2013 Agua Verde. We had a great sail to Agua Verde. It was 52 miles and took about 8 hours. The next day the wind was supposed to come from the north, so we moved to the northern anchorage. Trying out my new kayak. Pam on the SUP. Pam at the top of the climb to the Cave Paintings. Rick at the Cave Paintings. Cocktails on the beach.

The ramblings of an oddball | Just another place for me to spout my nonsense

The ramblings of an oddball. Just another place for me to spout my nonsense. Dear Rep. Steve King. August 21, 2012. Apologies if this makes no sense or is just plain wrong. Recent news articles have just got my back up and it’s this or get in a fight on Twitter about it. Congressman Todd Akin, U.S. Representative for Missouri’s 2nd congressional district said the following of pregnancy as a result if rape, and subsequent termination;. Ramblings of an Office Worker

Ramblings of an Office Worker. The life of an office worker, the ramblings of a fool. I'm Re-Learning to Write! Life got busy, really busy. I had next to no time to write, anything, so when I finally tried I found myself calling things 'good' or 'great'. Nothing really more expressive than that. I hate failing at things like this, and hate is an attractive force. It makes me want to solve my problems, and so, I started In ATX. Rambled About by Oli. Links to this post. ramblings of an old biddy

Ramblings of an old biddy. Monday, November 14, 2011. Okay, I was busy Halloween and have been distracted since then, so now I'm getting around to my Halloween post. Alright, I admit it:I'm too busy being lazy to keep up with these posts. I should do something about that. Then there's the property that we live on and the property next to it. I have been told that a man used to live here, practiced black magic eons ago. I don't know if I believe it, but I don't linger outdoors at night. Anyway, I am still...

My BlogSong

Wednesday, May 02, 2012. Not the day I thought it would be. I know that cancer isn't easy.it's not supposed to be. It's ugly and mean and unfair. But I just wish it were a little more definite! Throughout this whole ordeal, nothing about my cancer has been definite! First we thought we were just removing simple calcification, and then it turned into an invasive cancer. Then we removed lymph nodes, but they disappeared! Now we've done a genetic test and it comes back iffy! Side effects of Cytoxan. Now I h...

Ramblings of an Old Man

Ramblings of an Old Man. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Carley, Carley oh Carley! As salespeople we have all been blamed for things that we feel are in no way our fault, and indeed this may be one of those situations. However from a customers point of view you are the salesperson , so who else am I to blame? None of us likes to sell to friends or employees , as these are always the jobs which come up with the newest and most unique problems., and are always the first people to whine and complain. Then again wh...
