Saturday, June 28, 2008. The last two days, have been hard to wake up as I role over feeling like a freight train ran over me. So I am taking the whole day and resting. I will take the Jeep up a 4x4 trail to do some reading around sunset, but other than that, I plan to relax and catch up on my blog. I'm sorry that you are feeling like a freight train ran over you but I'm proud of you that you are keeping up the hard work! Mom and I start back work on Friday! I'm actually really excited to get busy again!

Saturday, May 17, 2008. Driving to lake city! Mountain goats hanging on to the cliffs as we drive up the mountain to the trailhead. L to R (Kristin, Bru, Joy, Kristina). Joy and Andy in our kitchen. The first campsite on the first afternoon. I slept in the tent to the right. Snow the next morning! The snow just kept falling for most of the morning. Finally the sun came out and we broke camp and moved a few more miles closer to the goal. Friday, May 16, 2008. First week of training! Wow is all I can say!
