Books, Photos and Thoughts! The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. July 25, 2016. 8220;Full of Wisdom and Healing, with an Amazing Storyline! By the ninth page I knew that this book was going to become a favourite! The magic of this book is that it is focused upon offering other books that can heal, yet it is this book itself that does the healing. To fulfil this realisation. I honestly cannot praise this book enough! Posted in Book Reviews. July 25, 2016 at 9:42 pm. July 25, 2016 at 10:00 pm. My favo...

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins – ramblingthroughlife
https://ramblingthroughlifesite.wordpress.com/2016/07/25/the-girl-on-the-train-by-paula-hawkins
Books, Photos and Thoughts! The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. July 25, 2016. July 25, 2016. The Girl on the Train was the first Thriller I have read, due to me being easily spooked! It was forced upon me by my mam, and from the first page, I knew I wasn’t going to regret caving in and giving it a shot. The storyline was addictive, and I finished the book in a day! The author wrote each character so convincingly, and I felt strong feelings (both positive and negative) towards each one at some point ...

rambling through culture | thoughts on culture, people, and the ways they connect
Thoughts on culture, people, and the ways they connect. 8220;It’s embarrassing that we all just walk through life blindly accepting that scrambled eggs are fundamentally associated with mornings.”. Hazel Grace Lancaster, The Fault in Our Stars. I don’t know the answer; I’ve never given scrambled eggs too much thought. What a great example of a reminder that our “normal” isn’t everyone’s “normal”! Explains Hazel’s frustration this way:. The reason that you and I both find it unfortunate that some foods ar...

rambling through life
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. I drove past the Provo Tabernacle the other day - it's on its way to becoming the Provo Temple - but it actually looks horrible. just a dark empty shell on a vacant lot surrounded by construction. The fire was a tragedy - a beautiful building gone. But no - it's going to be restored! And even better, it's going to become a beautiful Temple. I'm thankful for the ways that Heavenly Father chooses to teach us about the atonement. Monday, March 25, 2013.

Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain. Hakuna Matata in Kenya. Travel Tuesday: Awra Amba, Ethiopia Part 2. Posted in Around The World. I apologize in advance. This is a long post. But it’s worth it – I promise. Well, say no more. I dragged my new Australian friend with me, as this journey required some hiking and I didn’t want to go it alone. (thanks to Catherine for sharing her pics with me. She took most of the amazing pics below). Yup At the bus stop in the middle of nowhere. 8211; respecting childre...

Rambling Through Parenthood
Life, style and parenting. Of Kenwood, Currys, Cakes and Bakes. The new series of The Great British Bake Off. Starts today, so the timing of this post could not be better. I enjoy watching GBBO and I love to eat cake. My baking prowess sadly, extends only to baking the odd banana loaf. I have never put anything in a bain-marie before. And the only soft and stiff peaks I am know of have nothing to do with baking. Links to this post. Nick Baker's Bug Safari by Interplay UK. 8221; or . The child has a high...

Ramblings of a Toast
Ramblings of a Toast. Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Gearing up for NaNoWriMo. It probably seems a little silly that I'm getting all psyched and stuff for November and NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month for the uninitiated) when we're not even a third of the way through October. I have a few good reasons to be doing so. So this years NaNo, I'm really wanting to get another story of at least 50K words by the end of the month. I'm not actually gearing to have my story necessarily only be 50K words lo...
