Joyful Reader: As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust by Alan Bradley
http://joyfulreader.blogspot.com/2015/01/as-chimney-sweepers-come-to-dust-by.html
Tuesday, January 20, 2015. As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust by Alan Bradley. Alan Bradley spins a fun tale. This is number seven in the Flavia (pronounced with a long A, like grave) de Luce series. This book clarifies the pronunciation of her name, and I'm having to constantly rethink it in my little brain. In this book Flavia is sent to Canada to school. She is her usual self, and of course is immediately embroiled in a mysterious death. I think it may be my favorite book of the series. October 2014 - A...

A few weeks after school got out in June, we left to go on our second big family trip of the year (the first one was our Spring Break Florida trip). This time we were headed to Southern California. The kids were so excited to be able to spend time with cousins. They got up early the next morning for a fancy breakfast. And a game of catch out in the front yard: :. And some trampoline jumping:. When the baptism was over we quickl...

Rachel loves playing with andrew, and andrew loves it even more. she likes to get right in andrew's toys with him and join along in the fun. she'll show him how to properly play with things, and she'll take his hands out of his mouth and replace it with a toy, saying, "we don't eat our hands! We often gave andrew tummy time on thi...

Our Love Story: Laura: 7 Months Old
http://jeremyandkendrajohnston.blogspot.com/2014/08/laura-7-months-old.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. Laura: 7 Months Old. We just adore her. Here's some of the things we want to remember about 7 month old Laura. She is army crawling! It's a left arm, right foot maneuver and she is fast at it! She went from "Oh look she scooted forward! Laura just rounded the corner and is in the bathroom and down the hall! In just 1 week. She is curious and interested and honestly, pretty busy! She likes to be down exploring - not held and cuddled. She is still a champion nurser! And I think the...

The Mott Family: October 2013
http://danielandjoanne.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Here’s Henry and Cynthia, working hard at learning how to draw giraffes:. And here’s Cindy drinking two of her favorite things simultaneously – applesauce and spinach smoothie. She’s always much more pleasant after she’s had her first sippy cup full of applesauce of the day, and she’ll never turn down a smoothie of any kind, but this was the first time I’d seen her try to combine them. 8221; And then we’d get this:. I’m never surprised when he gets older, because I tend...

Wednesday, January 22, 2014. September and October 2013. I have decided I might have time for blogging again. We’ll see how this goes. The posts I really want to do are about our Thanksgiving trip and also Christmas, but first I should probably get September and October in there. This is going to be a long one. Cindy knows that proper ladies do their stacks of puzzles with a Batman cape and mask on. Tristan at their 2nd football game. He got hurt and didn’t get to play much. And playing with set-ups.
