A short documentary captures Lloyd Hale's journey of recovering from schizophrenia and overcoming adversity. The film shows Hale's vast struggles with poverty, addiction, incarceration, and mental illness as well as the overwhelming challenges that these obstacles present. His inspiring story of hope traveled with him across the state of South Carolina as he cycled to raise awareness for severe and persistent mental illness. By Director Zoë Miller and Assistant Director Lolly Adair.

Zoë joined the team as the filmmaker for Lloyd Hale's short documentary. And quickly became committed to the cause. These days she is busy behind the scenes making Lloyd's dream a reality.
