For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Another season of drought. Give it an hour. On May 6, 2015. We live in an area that could be considered the country, sort of. It’s not a traditional neighborhood there are fields all around us. For most of the past couple weeks, we’ve seen an unusual amount of rain. Nearly every day. Couple that with a schedule that leaves little time for luxuries like gardening, and I have a yard overflowing with weeds. It was bad, I tell you.

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Victory in Advance. Give it an hour. Another season of drought. On April 14, 2015. We trust Him, or we don’t. I’m reminded of those sharp, but truthful words from a friend. A conversation we had in the middle of what I thought might be the worst time for my family, financially speaking anyway. I was wrong. This season is more challenging. Read more of what she wrote to me just recently:. My hope and confidence ARE in the Lord....

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Get BEHIND me! On January 23, 2015. I didn’t think it was possible. A biopsy is supposed to tell you definitively if you have cancer or not, right? There’s no gray area. It’s black or white. I thought. And then began the wait. Five days before a call. I had prayed and processed and prepared for either answer. It is or it isn’t. Okay, God I’m good either way. I thought. She could have stopped before she said but. After the call, I...

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; False comfort. On February 17, 2015. Change me or prepare me for anything. This year, for some reason, I’ve felt a tug to give up something. What that something was, I wasn’t clear. So, I prayed. God answered in the form of an article. By Phil Ressler that I stumbled upon. It offered some other, very interesting, suggestions of things to give up for Lent. Just a few examples:. Shall we commit together to losing this fear? Perhaps...

Who’s really to blame? | For Such A Time As This

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; A prayer. Who’s really to blame? On July 1, 2015. This verse was printed along the top of a little community newspaper that came in yesterday’s mail. As I was gathering items to throw out, the paper being one of them, the words grabbed my attention and caused me to stop. Shoot, at that time, I didn’t even own a Bible. But I thought I was pretty righteous because I:. Prayed when I wanted something. These days, we see far too often...

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Giving it up. Another season of drought. On March 6, 2015. When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he bowed down and worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, ‘Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands.’ Judges 7:15. How does she do it? She fully, completely, wholeheartedly believes. The Bible. With every fiber of her being, she trusts. On the surface, I reasoned during our talk,...

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Who’s really to blame? Why Kathy Lee has peace even after the death of her husband. On July 29, 2015. I could have died today. Heading to work, traveling in the center lane on the highway, a semi on my right suddenly came over without any warning. To my left, a pickup truck. Behind me, a van. I was completely helpless and boxed in with nowhere to go. Somehow, NONE. But spiritually, I can see it as plain as day. Seeing the world i...

For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Shades of gray? On February 9, 2015. 8220;But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved! I had to wonder. There was a huge time gap between his trips and honestly,. I also wondered if he ever thought about his own mortality? Something about that man stayed with me afte...

Get BEHIND me! | For Such A Time As This
https://pattihazlett.wordpress.com/2015/01/21/get-behind-me
For Such A Time As This. Maximizing everyday moments to glorify God. Laquo; Who am I following? On January 21, 2015. The day was glorious. It was the perfect temperature, the sun was shining and I hadn’t been able to run outside in weeks. I was so excited to breathe in fresh air and pray during my run. If there were any people around, they would have heard me because at that moment I said as loud as I could, get BEHIND me Satan! I stretched again and started jogging. You know what? There isn’t anything H...
