Today on the James front: Update: Miscellany

http://onthejamesfront.blogspot.com/2008/05/update-miscellany.html

Today on the James front. Friday, May 9, 2008. First and foremost,. In less than a month, I'm riding in the Buffalo Tour de Cure! Spring has (finally) arrived in Buffalo. Coming back to the hotel a couple of days ago, heard about the eclipse on the radio. Dutifully trudged outside to see it at 10pm. And ooooh, it was pretty. Ill Wil...

A WordPress.com site devoted to the health and welfare of my writing. August 9, 2011. Excerpt from MY EBENEZER STONE. Tonight I enjoyed a meeting with my friends form NW Florida Writers Group. Thanks! Ohmygod, Ruthie, I can NOT be-LIEVE how much she looks like PatZube, can you? The next day at her house, I learne...

Still Raising The Next Generation

Still Raising The Next Generation. Sunday, 11 November 2012. When my wonderful husband took me out to dinner on Friday night, my equally wonderful daughter made a lavender salt hand scrub, which dare I say is probably more appetising than the lavender cordial I made! Moment some time in the coming week. I've been thinking ...

To Be a Blessing

To Be a Blessing. Jul 5th, 2008 at 5:16 PM. I just thought of that, Creepy. Jul 4th, 2008 at 7:35 PM. DISCLAIMER: I did not write this. I got it off a website completely written and edited by Americans of African descent. I lost the credits, but when I find them I will post with the article. Still ranting - still an old bag

Still ranting - still an old bag. Tuesday, 4 April 2017. You can't go back. I'm having one of those nights. Sleepless, I mean. So to pass the time I've googled places I've lived - 14 of them - in my time and found Gortan on Islay. I lived in the right hand side. The photo above shows my aunt and uncle outside the house round about 1979. I bet the view from the dining room window is still magical. Change is inevitable wherever we live. Schools - so important to their local communities - close, merge a...
