Stitching With Attitude
Tuesday, 23 June 2015. In my previous post, I mentioned about colour names and the vast number of colours available to us. Fifty Shades of Grey is just a drop in the old bucket! Perhaps because I work with colour so closely on a daily basis, the massive number of colours and colour names does not phase me that much. Matching them up is another story! Just how do these companies come up with these names and we have often wondered just WHO is responsible for the task? Http:/ www.slate.com/blogs/the...So it...

Stitching With A View
I Do Love to stitch! Monday, March 5, 2012. Well once again I'm here to say hello. I've probably lost all of my followers because of my sporadic blogging, LOL. As you do know I was away three weeks in January on holidays and February has left me with the winter Blahs. So I've taken up walking and Zumba. I feel much better and spring is just around the corner. I was at Knowledge and Needles. It was fun to see Christin, Dani, Tracy and Bonnie. These are the 2 pieces I've been stitching on. A New project &#...

Stories of my Dolls, and custom made clothes made on my Ellisimo. Ellen decided the best strategy was to set up all her healthy snacks before the other dolls came out. Stitching with Kittens
Stitching, books, cats, and other favorite things. Friday, June 12, 2015. I wanted to post some photos of a super fun little project I completed earlier this year. Each January our EGA chapter hosts a workshop that does something requiring a needle and thread. . . but usually a little outside of traditional embroidery. This year our guest teacher was beading instructor Cathy Helmers, who taught a 3-dimensional beading class. You can see some of Cathy's work here. Back view (love the wild and crazy hair!

Creating something new everyday.a veritable cornucopia of crafts. It's a part of who I am. Creating heirloom pieces at present - leaving my footprint behind, and perhaps a little something extra for my loved ones in the future. Friday, August 26, 2011. Just as the school season gets underway, I'm preparing for the fall season. This paper pumpkin requires only twelve small strips of paper, two brads, and two leaf cut outs. Enjoy. Stitching With Maggie
Cross Stitch and Maggie-pug. Monday, August 1, 2011. If anyone is looking for Terri's old blog (Dixiesamplardesigns.blogspot.com), she lost it but has a new one! You can find her at Dixiesamplar.blogspot.com. Her new one is beautiful and I wish her success! I am so glad to be done with July. I am so tired of the hot, humid temperatures we've had here but unfortunately it is going to be pretty much the same for the first week in August. Well, we are getting that much closer to Fall. You won't be sorry!
