Zoe Nelson -- Artwear: July 2012
http://zoenelsonartwear.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Zoe Nelson - Artwear. Living the good life and making jewelry in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Friday, July 27, 2012. A huge quartz crystal (as long as my arm) that has clusters of pink and green tourmaline on it. A table of clear quartz crystals with a rose quartz mixed in. Close up of quartz crystals. So pretty. I don't know what these are, but they look like little alien eggs. This ball is about a foot across. Again, I don't know what the stone is, but it has a very cool mosaic pattern. 65279;It was fun, ...

It's wearable bead art. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Show over, need for zzzzzs. So, two days after tearing down, I'm still tired. But I wanted to put the whipped cream and cherry on the top of the ACC show blog. The contacts made over the course of the show will be worth their weight in gold. I've got a head of steam up for the Judaica line, thanks to some shops that showed interest. And a number of venues expressed interest in seeing more of my work - including museum and synagogue shops. The blog will ...

It's wearable bead art. Monday, July 30, 2012. What is exhausting, I've discovered, is standing. In one place for hours during a show. A week later, despite good shoes, despite sleeping with feet raised, and despite being off salt for years, my otherwise skinny ankles are still a bit puffy. Nonetheless, it was a very successful show from many perspectives. My work was validated and valued by my colleague artists, which is most gratifying. Sales were better than they've been for at least the last ...The p...

http://theafine.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
It's wearable bead art. Monday, April 23, 2012. Show hiatus- until July. Just in time for summer:. Under the Sea: turquoise and. Coral seaweed - pricing/sizing. Through www.theafine.com. The good news is that the shows this spring ultimately were successful. The contacts were great, the opportunities for teaching are superb. Now to find a locale for the classes - perhaps the clubhouse here at EH would be better than the studio itself. There is no bad news! LOL My work has been pinned a few times already.

It's wearable bead art. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Can It Be That the Muse Has Returned? Now I KNOW I shouldn't even lead with a header like that, since it's really tempting fate, but it seems that the muse may have returned - along with the first hummingbird of the season! Both flit in and out of my life in the spring and summer, but I'm hoping they'll both decamp for a while and become a part of my life. And oh, boy, do I have a lot of work to do. Hope those of you in the heartlands (or those who want a ...
