http://thebeadedlife.blogspot.com/2009/12/bead-sculpture-by-akimberlin-blackburn.html

Thursday, December 24, 2009. Luna Calls Water to Nourish Green Families. I love her work! Here is a link to her website. She does a lot of multimedia. Http:/ www.akimberlinblackburn.com/collages 2/a matter of our heart obon.html. I will post pics of my latest project in the next few days. I completed a very elaborate bracelet designed by Melanie Dorman. I learned a lot doing it. Tess said "oh my! I just set up an art space along the side of our living room. It feels so good to be in that space. AK thank ...

Saturday, September 12, 2009. My piles of stones give me great joy just to have them laying around so I can look at them. The colors and striations. I love seed beads and when shopping always look for the matte finish earth tones. Not easy to find in a bead world where many artists gravitate towards sparkle, shine, and lot's of crystal as the focal. I bring my camera to dog beach as there are always moments worth capturing. the beaded life: My meandering dorkiness

http://thebeadedlife.blogspot.com/2009/09/my-meandering-dorkiness.html

Wednesday, September 23, 2009. I took a workshop by Melanie Doerman a few weekends ago. It was offered through the San Diego Bead Society. I had been looking forward to meeting Melanie. I had a great day! Check out her website. It was so funny when, at the class, I shared that I don't work with crystals and never have and often prefer more matte finishes. I could hear breaths sucking in and you could hear a pin drop. Some of the ladies then belted out " oh no! Your talking to the swarovsky embassy here!

Beth Handley: Art and Life: A great month of beading projects.

http://bethhandley.blogspot.com/2013/03/a-great-month-of-beading-projects.html

Beth Handley: Art and Life. Friday, March 1, 2013. A great month of beading projects. I have to say, this month has been full of fun, but with an exception or two. For example, I can’t remember having so many glitches and technical problems with my “Day Job” It is humbling when Murphy’s Law not only visits but does not get up off the couch and go home! Thanks to my wonderful colleagues and my awesome clients, I’m happy it is now March with (knocking wood) a smoother month ahead. March 2, 2013 at 10:11 AM.

Beth Handley: Art and Life. Thursday, November 22, 2012. I am so grateful for so much, not the least being having this day of reflection. What a wonder that we have a national day of gratitude! I’m very grateful that I have this last day to create and prepare for the market. Beth Handley: Art and Life: March Barrette

http://bethhandley.blogspot.com/2013/04/march-barrette.html

Beth Handley: Art and Life. Monday, April 1, 2013. Last month’s has been designated as a journal cover, with many thanks to those who took a look at it. I’m perfectly happy with the serendipity of changing from the original intent. The March barrette is smaller and, I think a better shape for wearability. I’m thrilled to be keeping up and have some ideas for the next design already. April 2, 2013 at 5:14 AM. Love the design, Beth :-). April 3, 2013 at 11:44 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
