beadsandblooms: October 2009
http://beadsandblooms.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 12, 2009. My display stayed pretty secure but we didn't get the placement of the tarp quite right on Steve's side and he lost several framed photos to the wind gusts. Links to this post. Labels: arts and crafts fairs. Saturday, October 10, 2009. I seem to have been in a green mood lately. After quite a dry spell, I've finally finished, photographed and listed two new pieces to my Etsy shop. A third piece is finished and photographed but not listed yet. And guess what? beadsandblooms: July 2010
http://beadsandblooms.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. Goodness, I don't know where the month of July went! I didn't realize it had been a month since I'd posted here. But, I just had to share today. And being a beadweaver, my first thought was, "Ooh, I should make up a necklace in these colors! Now I also have something to refer back to when I go through my bead stash. And I think copper will be the right accent for this trio of secondary colors after seeing how lovely they look on my leaf tray (which, btw, was a yard sale find).

beadsandblooms: August 2009

Wednesday, August 19, 2009. I am a bargain seeker, a treasure hunter, collector of odds and ends. My bead stash runneth over. So, when the theme for the Etsy Beadweavers team September challenge was announced, Indian Summer Dream, I knew I had the perfect components to make up my interpretation of the theme - somewhere! Oh yeah, there they are! Okay, so how do I make them up? Lots of fall colors, of course! What else does "Indian summer" make me think of? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

beadsandblooms: Peace, Love and Flower Power, Baby!
http://beadsandblooms.blogspot.com/2011/02/peace-love-and-flower-power-baby.html
Sunday, February 20, 2011. Peace, Love and Flower Power, Baby! I'm really telling my age here, but I once had psychedelic, neon colored posters plastered all over my bedroom walls, big bright tissue paper flowers stuck in funky vases and peace signs everywhere. I listened to Janis and Jimi and wore hip hugger bellbottoms and tie dye t-shirts. Yep, I am a child of the 60's. Can you say, "Groovy, man! February 20, 2011 at 12:23 PM. Sunday, August 29, 2010. New Season, New Style. My first craft show is only four weeks away and the second just four days after that! I have been busy every weekend getting inventory ready, but today I decided to take a break and set up my new jewelry display to make sure it is all going to come together as I want. I then took pictures to take with me to my shows so I won't forget how I did it! I would love to hear what you think. Links to this post. Labels: arts and crafts fairs. Sunday, August 8, 2010.

beadsandblooms: April 2010

Thursday, April 15, 2010. First Ever EBW Spring Swap. Twenty-one members of my Etsy team, Etsy Beadweavers, decided to treat each other with a swap of beadwoven designs. We each completed a questionaire on likes, dislikes, wrist and ring sizes, etc. and submitted them to the organizer of the swap, Christine of Christine's Beadwork. You can see her beautiful work on Etsy at Gypsy Eyes Jewelry. Then today it was my turn. I received my swap package in the mail and when I read the return address, I was r...

beadsandblooms: May 2010
http://beadsandblooms.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. Sometimes You Get Lucky. This time around I also found two pair of pajamas, two t-shirts and swim trunks for my 4 year old grandson ($7.00), a grapevine wreath and a bag of green floral moss ($1.50), a rather unique lidded basket and a really cool wooden chuch birdhouse ($2.00). Next week? Who knows what treasures await? I love yard sales! Links to this post. Sunday, May 16, 2010. The abstract design was inspired by my EBW and Facebook friend, Lorraine of TrinityDJ. On Etsy. beadsandblooms: November 2010
http://beadsandblooms.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 22, 2010. Saying Good-bye to Old Friends. Has it really been almost two months since I've written a blog post? Where on earth does time go? And I would have to say that all four shows were successful shows in their own fashion; some with sales and some with sales and networking with other artists. This was the first show I have done in the last 11 years where my jewelry sales made up the majority of my total sales! I'm hoping to come home soul full. Links to this post.

beadsandblooms: June 2009

Monday, June 22, 2009. Here Comes the Bride! Links to this post. Thursday, June 18, 2009. When I go on a vacation it's easy to put away thoughts of accounts receivable, payroll and insurance filing. After all, that's what I'm taking the vacation from! But the work I do at home usually goes with me, even on vacation. Most of the time my SO drives so even short trips are a source of uninterrupted beading time. I played a lot of Bejeweled and Bubbletown, but I also got a lot of beading done! The last pictur...
