Welcome to our blog! This is just a peek at what is going on with our family. Sunday, May 10, 2009. He made them promise to be good and gave them a sticker. I love law enforcement. For lunch, I made peanut butter sandwiches (Jack and Charlie's favorite) and as a treat, gave a whole apple to each of the guys. Usually, we cut them up so as not to waste the food, but I was feeling like "fun mom" and thought, "What the heck - give 'em the whole apple! That leads me to today. Best Mother's Day ever!

Welcome to our blog! This is just a peek at what is going on with our family. Friday, May 8, 2009. Now let's start swimming! Jack and Charlie finished their first two-week swim school today. I say first because more than one would definitely help, but we'll let them practice a bit before going on to another class. They have done so well, and I'm so proud! Brad and Sarah Grace come home tonight. The boys miss them as do I. And the weekend promises to be fun! Hope all is well with everyone!

The Full Count . . . . Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Getting in a food rut. Is all too easy for me, so in attempts to prevent this I've been trying to incorporate new recipes into our routine. My sister made this Cajun chicken pasta recipe. Not long ago and her family loved it, so I'd been dying to give it a try as well. I made it last week (or the week before? Most of the best stories are about them anyway. At school, the Kindergarten students are each assigned an eighth grade buddy. The buddy sits with them in chapel on Wednesday mornings, comes to Kindergarten on Friday mornings to help out in the classroom, and also works on a rotating basis as a safety patrol to get the Kindergarten students safely to their cars during after school pick up.
