Little Red Horse

Saturday, February 22, 2014. Well he is finally finished. My very first original sculpture, Gerrit, a Frisian Stallion preforming the Spanish Walk. Gerrit is a Frisian name and it means brave and hardy which is appropriate for a frisian horse as they were originally breed as war horses. Now the he is done comes the not so fun parts. I need to figure out how to advertise him and cast him; do I send him to a professional who does all the hard work or do I have his mold made and do the casting at home?

Little Red Horse: May 2013

http://thelittleredhorse.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 27, 2013. Sunday, May 26, 2013. I am currently working on both the warmblood and pony resin masters. For comparison, here is a picture of them side by side. Although neither horse looks like this anymore; they literally fell to pieces! As for Tristan, he lost his head. After putting a mane on him, he still looked to refined rather than thick and pony like. So his head is getting thickened and his neck is coming off and getting shortened. And his pasterns need to be fixed. Monday, May 6, 2013.

Little Red Horse: August 2013

http://thelittleredhorse.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 8, 2013. Finally completed. I love how he turned out! Except his whites; he has bumpy white syndrome :S I have to work in even thinner layers of white, which is frustrating. Need to learn more patience. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Gluing the hair on, cutting and styling! I ordered a whole bunch more hair and now all my OF Breyers are starting to look like victims. Thursday, August 1, 2013. What a pain in the . back. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I have been following the model horse industry ...

Little Red Horse: June 2013

http://thelittleredhorse.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 22, 2013. Wagner is back together again! I don't have more recent pictures, but he also has button braids, neck wrinkles and his hocks and knees are starting to come together. This is the recent version of him I have been working on. So far he is more refined that the first one and his braids are a better size (ie. smaller! The first version proved useful though, he generously donated his legs to the V2! I love these things! Tuesday, June 18, 2013. I fall to Pieces. Monday, June 17, 2013.

The Little Red House

The Little Red House. The life and times of a boy named Noah, and his little sister Laurel. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Years ago, when I was very young, an important part of my childhood memories include a little "Rock House" out in the woods near the family farm. This was before video and computer games and we used our imagination and could play for hours in this little grove made up of rocks that looked like furniture. In a house. We had a refrigerator, couch, TV, beds, chairs and even a piano! Getting Re...
