The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Well, we're 13 days past the 1 year anniversary of me starting the Peak Condition Project. My life would be so much different now without it. Although I have to say, life can really get in the way of the road to peak condition, and a felled tree of that size can be a mighty pain to move. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Well Past Finished, Far From The End. I linked it in my last post here, but my new blog is at. Http:/ mikhaelcohen.blogspot.com. I'm keeping up with Patrick's daily worko...

The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael: May 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-mikhael.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 31, 2010. Went to the park this AM to work out, as I still don't have a proper pull-up bar. I think once I have some spending money I'm going to actually build one in my bedroom from 4x4's and 2x4's. It's pretty terrible not having a wide-enough door frame in the house. I've been doing incline pull-ups this whole time, and it's time for change. I thought I'd post a weight update today of the last 47. That's all for now. Cheers! Sunday, May 30, 2010. The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael: Well Past Finished, Far From The End

http://thepeakconditionproject-mikhael.blogspot.com/2010/07/well-past-finished-far-from-end.html

Thursday, July 22, 2010. Well Past Finished, Far From The End. I linked it in my last post here, but my new blog is at. Http:/ mikhaelcohen.blogspot.com. I'm keeping up with Patrick's daily workouts, as well as TKD, and my eating is a little more haphazard at the moment, as I fit myself into this new diet. I'm starting to follow the paleo diet, with some straying toward athletic performance instead. I'll be letting you all know how it goes on my new blog. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael: Day 88 - The Soda Bottle

http://thepeakconditionproject-mikhael.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-88-soda-bottle.html

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Day 88 - The Soda Bottle. Today I want to explain a manner in which I avoid cravings, which Seabass also did during his PCP. When he was at a Magic: The Gathering tournament, they were giving away these bottles of Jones Soda. If you're unfamiliar with the brand, it's quite possibly the best bulk-made soda available. I was drinking it when they were a much smaller company, based solely out of Canada. July 11, 2010 at 10:03 PM. Im sure it will reveal itself over time. I am indeed Wil...

The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael: Day 89

http://thepeakconditionproject-mikhael.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-89.html

Monday, July 12, 2010. Finished my Day 88 workout at 7PM last night. Finished my day 89 workout at 7:30AM this morning. Definitely suffered a bit of stamina loss from the gap between, but it was worth it. The lack of stamina killed my ab exercises, but I still managed to tuck 8-minute abs into the workout. (I didn't have enough time later today to complete the workout in the afternoon). ARgghhhh. That said, I really wouldn't eat it anyway. July 12, 2010 at 5:12 PM. July 12, 2010 at 7:34 PM. The Peak Condition Project - Mikhael: Day 88

http://thepeakconditionproject-mikhael.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-88.html

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Unrelated to last night's botched workout, I did find this article this morning on self handicapping that is quite interesting. Http:/ www.psychologytoday.com/blog/dont-delay/200805/delay-self-handicapping-strategy-i-can-protect-my-self-image-procrastinating. By finding or creating impediments that make good performance less likely, the strategist nicely protects his [or her] sense of self-competence". July 11, 2010 at 6:40 PM. The Peak Condition Project - Brett: June 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-brett.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Has anyone else noticed. That the more you get into shape, the harder it is to sit in a chair for 8-10 hours, and the worse you feel afterwards? I don't think I'm just imagining this. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The inferno has ended, both inside and outside. New exhaust motor for the AC unit is in place and seems to be working. Still deciding on Indulgence: Part Trois, but I'm thinking Moroccan (Bastilla! Off to burn it up, PCP-style. Monday, June 28, 2010. The diet goes well, desp...

The Peak Condition Project - Todd: Back in San Francisco, stats update

http://thepeakconditionproject-todd.blogspot.com/2010/07/back-in-san-francisco-stats-update.html

Saturday, July 3, 2010. Back in San Francisco, stats update. After a week moving, guessing weights, substituting exercises and food, and a massive indulgence, I was afraid I'd done quite a lot of damage to my PCP. Fortunately, the scale shows that I maintained my weight, lost fat, gained muscle. Thank goodness! Now let's finish this thing properly! July 3, 2010 at 9:19 PM. Family moved, new life ready to start, WITH a badass body! July 3, 2010 at 11:23 PM. Heres to some impressive accomplishments!

The Peak Condition Project - Jason: Day 86: Accentuate the positive...

http://thepeakconditionproject-jason.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-86-accentuate-positive.html

Friday, July 9, 2010. Day 86: Accentuate the positive. Struck down by the PCP gods for lambasting my doorman (for simply doing his job), I understand that with only 4 days left there is no room for negativity. I did my jumprope penance (see pics). Onwards and upwards! Only 4 more days to go. I'm expecting some sort of an epiphany.I'm also expecting the last remnants of my belly to disappear, maybe I should start jumping 3x a day? July 9, 2010 at 8:01 AM. Now stop whipping yourself already!

The Peak Condition Project - Jason: Day 78: Devo

http://thepeakconditionproject-jason.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-78-devo.html

Thursday, July 1, 2010. The PCP gods are cruel. After complaining the other day that the marks had faded, this morning jumping I helped myself to a fresh, new, hearty flagellation, check it out. Ooooooh yeah, hard core! We've talked about this before (I love talking about it), but MAN am I gassy! More than before, though not sure why, my diet has not changed. Maybe its because my pants are too loose, and I'm wearing my belt too tight? Team SEXAAAAY, how does it feel to be the wiley veterans? Does this me...

http://thepeakconditionproject-jason.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-88-mixing-and-matching.html

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Day 88: Mixing and Matching. Was that the longest run-on sentence in PCP history? V-sit/Plank Super Sets, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.did not come close to Brett's 4:03 Plank. The first set was about 3;30, the other 4 were between 2:00-3:00. V-sits were all between 20-30 reps. July 11, 2010 at 9:05 AM. Ooh, I wish I could be there for the ceremony. Kill some carrots for me, okay? July 11, 2010 at 5:22 PM. Can you send a work-out PDF file of the proceedings? The Peak C...

And best of luck to the new team. Stick with it! July 15, 2010 at 12:17 AM. Especially having to deal with the move. July 15, 2010 at 6:05 AM. Yeah, dude, you worked it out, literally. Very nice! Friday, April 30, 2010. Day 16: Tortilla Tower. Garlic grilled shrimp, ginger steamed chicken, broccoli, radish, cucumber, pumpkin wrapped in whole wheat tortilla (x4). Best lunch so far, and probably will do the same every day until I'm sick of it, which I'm guessing won't be for a loooooong time. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Day 15: More on (moron? Thursday, July 1, 2010. So i have not updated for a while (as usual). I have been completly stressed out with new job, school and moving, so my ability to do pcp has been dwindeling. At the moment im also without internet. As of said before , im very happy with the results I have seen so far, and I know they would have been even more if I had been able to stick to it theese last weeks. So Im back on the plan today, just to finish and do the last two weeks. July 1, 2010 at 4:09 PM. July 1, 2010 at 4:19 PM.

Sunday, June 20, 2010. I CAN BELIEVE 10 DAYS HAVE PASSED! It feels like a small week. Im still doing pcp, but it has been a bumpy ride. I had my exam, and the days before stayed up 28 hours without no sleep. I have not been able to do all the exercises, But I have not given up. I am seeing massive changes on my body from pcp, things are def on the good side, so that motivates me. The vanity motivates me. June 21, 2010 at 4:23 AM. Crank it up Maren, only 22 days left! Saturday, April 17, 2010. Day 93 - The Good, the bad, and the hungry. It's been 3 days since my Peak journey concluded, and I've been trying to wrap my head around it all. What a crazy trip this has been. I think the best way for me to summarize the past 90 days is by simply breaking it down. I figure I want to end on a positive note so I'll start with. In the end I came to love yogurt! I go through about a 1/2 gallon of skim milk a day. I absolutely love, love, love milk! I have seen the light. Not only...

Monday, November 9, 2009. Thing is, isn't like every treat in aisle 5 the same thing? Some fat, some sugar, some flavor. Why do people get grossed out at berries covered in crisco but chow down a Little Debbie cupcake? I say good luck to everyone else, this was fun, keep at it and enjoy life. Patrick, sorry about the delay, last week was.eventful. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. It's a hardboiled egg, a green onion and some ham, all chopped up together. What? How is that to go? Tuesday, August 30, 2011. It took me a while to write this post. I had so much to write, and mind was full of thoughts and was feeling nostalgic about my last 90 days. The Peak Condition Project - Naoko

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Workout @ Patrick's studio. I didn't know about Day 90 workout menu. I didn't receive the email before I leave home so I know nothing about it. Ah how far I came in 90 days! How much strength I gain! Looking back the first week, I was so out of breath by jumping just 300 or so. I got sore muscles from only 4 sets of squats. I would like to thank my friend Yukiko for recommending this program to me in May. If I didn't start in June, I wasn't here now. My old pants are too big now.
