Amongsts the pungent scent of cow manure, rotting garbage and sewage in the streets, a fleeting waft of jasmine flowers grace us with a sweet reprieve while tantalizing curries creep through the air from abounding restaurants lining the roads. Well, I've just completed my final shift at Shannon Medical Center, and what can I say? It was the perfect place to start off my travel nursing journey. Everyone was so welcoming, and I've felt like I've been a part of that team for years already, so it comes as no surprise when I say this: I wanted to cry when I left this morning.
