Eagerly Unanticipated: October 2005
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 29, 2005. A long weekend, a witty vaction. Well, that actually sorta piqued my interest. After all, you can see pretty small towns with church and main square in a lot of places, but there's no Socialist dystopia that's been razed and rebuilt (by Ceaucescu) quite like Bucharest, or so I've heard. We'll see, though. it should at any rate be an interesting trip (and my first overnight train (! For now, helo! Posted by sam at 3:01 AM. Tuesday, October 25, 2005. Oh, of course! First, I supp...

Eagerly Unanticipated: June 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 27, 2006. So I'm here, in State College, PA. Every second we kept driving over the past three days was the furthest East my car has been since we bought her (it? On the plus side: the math looks great! Posted by sam at 4:48 AM. Monday, June 12, 2006. I keep changing and growing, I swear. Posted by sam at 3:31 PM. In Hong Kong for vaguely-defined English teaching job. Adventure? Change, then a rant about basketball (UPDATED). A spring semester going by even faster than senior.

Eagerly Unanticipated: December 2005
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2005. I used a clothes dryer the other day- best invention ever. Everything fits better than it has in months! Also, you get to take stuff out of the dryer and put it on while it's still warm. I love that. I get to follow everything I do with "haven't [activity] in months"! Which I'm sure has gotten really annoying for the people I've seen so far (namely, my family), but it's still fun. "I haven't had Mexican food this good in months! Posted by sam at 3:55 AM. I know that I’ll com...

Eagerly Unanticipated: November 2005
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 19, 2005. In the meantime, things have been going ok. I've been feeling a little out of sorts this week, but the cold-and-cloudy weather we've been having has been replaced by cold-and-clear, which is infinitely easier to wake up in. Also, I have nothing going on this weekend, and I plan to sleep like nobody's business. And do analysis (lots of it). Posted by sam at 12:58 AM. Friday, November 18, 2005. An adventure into the world of diplomatic intrigue, maybe. Posted by sam at 12:33 AM.

Eagerly Unanticipated: January 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 23, 2006. Getting back up to speed. Anyway, being back at school is. in many ways just as hard to summarize/quantify as it was being abroad. Worse, most of my time and thoughts in the last week have been pretty inwardly-directed (and aren't all settled yet), which means they aren't worth trying to write about. So it's not like nothing has happened, it's just that nothing particularly surprising has happened yet. Posted by sam at 10:01 AM. Friday, January 06, 2006. Posted by sam at 1:00 PM.

Eagerly Unanticipated: August 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 15, 2006. It's so easy to forget. Ride a bike for recreation? Sometimes you need a little perspective on things. Actually, you always need a lot of perspective on anything, and it's a shame you don't always have the liberty to get it. Again use those notes/books/files. Oh, and the car did ok, but I'm not expecting much more out of it than making it to LA. Posted by sam at 5:46 AM. Thursday, August 10, 2006. Final thoughts from PA. First off, my car is getting old. Jazzed up for fall?

Eagerly Unanticipated: September 2005
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2005. On passports, sweden, slovakia, etc. Today's big news: I fly out of Ferihegy (the BP airport) at 7 tonight for Sweden(! I'm meeting up in Stockholm with my friend Ashley, from Pomona, since we both have a friday with no class. As a lucky coincidence, this is also the first of three nights of the Swedish Beer, Whiskey, and Cider festival. it will definitely be a fun trip. Where do you think you're going? Eagerly Unanticipated: March 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 31, 2006. So I figure, take two months off, come back, you gotta go all in (or was that 'all out'? Anyway, the point is: my 21st birthday is tomorrow. And, while some of the lustre has been taken off by that semester in Europe, we definitely hung mostly around dive bars (and mostly for the csocso) in BP, so I'm looking forward to some classiness. Posted by sam at 12:47 PM. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Oops, i'm moody and sometimes emoting puts me in the mood to write. Posted by sam at 4:00 PM.

Eagerly Unanticipated: April 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 19, 2006. The iPod is dead, long live the iPod. Although I'll write about the actual subject of the post in a sec, I just wanted to admit, here and now, that I never understood the phrase I just referenced. Obviously, if the king is dead, he cannot also be alive, so the two words don't have the same referrent, right? On the other hand, in, say, the English monarchy, if Queen Elizabeth II passed, would they say "the queen is dead, long live the king (charles)"? Posted by sam at 1:46 AM.

Eagerly Unanticipated: July 2006
http://eagerlyunanticipated.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 31, 2006. Posted by sam at 12:29 PM. Friday, July 28, 2006. Again, remiss and overdue. Oh, and I need a haircut bad, almost as bad as my car needs new tires. Those are on the to-do list. Posted by sam at 2:20 PM. In Hong Kong for vaguely-defined English teaching job. Adventure? Change, then a rant about basketball (UPDATED). A spring semester going by even faster than senior. Only somewhat about recent travel. Breaking news from Taiwan. Experience, reduced like the sauce we put on chick.
