From Japan with Love

From Japan with Love. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Thankfully everything went very well with the bindery equipment over the last two weeks, many problems were fixed, the business end is finished, many books were made, and the line is ready to make many more. The books are strong, the machines are running smoothly, and the brothers here are doing very well. All this, of course, means that it is time for us to go home. After a brief decompression in Seattle, we will return to Wallkill March 12. With love, c&a.

From Japan with Love. Friday, September 30, 2011. Hello friends, this will be a quick one, just to let you know that I put a few more pictures up from our progress with the bindery line. I also added some shots from our immediate neighborhood, hope you enjoy them. Also, from Alli: I just really liked this passage and wanted to share it. "Take the Adventure, heed the call, now ere the irrevocable moment passes! Kenneth Grahame from The Wind in the Willows. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Hello dear friends,.

From Japan with Love. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. The big red island. I really recommend landscapes 1). Ps thanks for feeding our fish. Friday, November 18, 2011. For my bindery friends: I must truthfully report that the CB18s, despite their fancy touch screens and LEDs, are jamming up just as spectacularly and causing just as much trouble at the moment as our CB16:). Thursday, November 17, 2011. Hope you are all having a fine week. Thursday, November 10, 2011. Bye for now c&a. Make Good Large Independent.

From Japan with Love. Monday, January 23, 2012. Hello everyone, how are you all? Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Shopping here is a lively experience and you call tell customer service is of top priority. Whether you are entering a fine department store or your local 7-11 you are always greeted by "Irashaimase! Which translates to "May I help you? I don't think I really did it justice but I hope you were able to get a sense of it. Love to you all, C&A. Monday, January 2, 2012. Hello, How is everyone?

Two Macaroni Penguins

Tuesday, 7 April 2009. The heroism of this, my final post on our blog (necessarily long to reflect the importance of the occasion), is not to be underestimated: I'm having to type it on a French keyboard - nothing is in the right place, even if you're writing in French! Also, this internet cafe costs about £60,000 per hour (€3) so this sparkling copy does not come cheap. Ahem Sorry about that. So we're in Lille, an underrated city if ever there was one (see pic). We also spent time in the company of the ...

McAllisters in Japan | a family blog by seth & hannah

A family blog by seth and hannah. Today we got to celebrate Easter with the believers at Matsumoto Abundant Life Church. We also got to watch our friend Yumi get baptised this morning. It has been super encouraging to see how God has transformed her life and given her so much hope over the last year. I was reminded today of the great hope that we have in Jesus. He has conquered death. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? This is most of the members of ALC (Abundant Life Church).

Two Mad Dahlias

Sunday, August 9, 2015. I was at Michael's the other day just poking around and came across some plastic keychains in the kids section. They were on sale and I knew I could make something out of them. I made a bunch with scraps of paper, bits of ribbon, and Lisa's Altered Art images. Some girls got glittery wings. Some got tiny bling on their crowns. This girl got a blingy button. She has glittery wings and a jeweled crown. I'd love to see them if you make some. Simon Says Stamp Tie It Up CHallenge.
